ykw im actually glad im seeing this because im actually interested in applying for unt's journalism major! what's it like over there? what do you do for photojournalism?
oh dude that’s awesome!!! I enjoyed it a lot :) almost every journalism/photojournalism professor i had was absolutely incredible. the photojournalism courses teach you how to manually operate a camera, visually storytelling, video production, editing, etc! it honestly taught me a lot of skills that I use daily. I will be transparent by saying there have been many changes to mayborn school of journalism at unt that occurred directly after I graduated. I am not entirely sure how the program runs currently… I do think that the new dean is pushing the PR/advertising branch of journalism rather than digital/print. if you are interested in PR, I think you would love it! do you have any other schools in mind?? :)
there's uta, portland state & unlv! i've been wanting to take journalism since the start of senior year :) curious, have you ever taken broadcast, digital & print, or sports media classes? if so, what's the difference between the 3 of them?
