Good to see some mod roundups in a similar vein to what Skyrim and Fallout 4 get. Theres so many mods that come out for this game, but barely anyone out there is covering/spotlighting them. Like seriously, the last time someone did this kind of vid was Noobert and it was over 3 months ago.
@@KokoplaysMB writer for noobert here, behind the scene stuff on our end, but hey we got our own stuff in the works. Might just be me but I actually really like that in rimworld you don't have to do that extra step for making materials with copper and iron ores that's tedious in pretty much all games that have you do some kind of mining
note that biomes prehistoric has spawn rates configurable in the mod options, so you can still have the vanilla biomes or even alpha biomes as well as any other modded biomes in the world as well and not only prehistoric flora/fauna.
Thanks for the vid i got myself some great mods that could enhance my gameplay. But maybe you should add a time stamp for each mods so it makes navigating between mod section easier. Great video though!
RImworld Vehicle mods is basically the dream come true from me... specially Tanks, Trucks... and Mechs! Not the mechanoid ones, but the one that they can pilot and fight steel against steel with one controlled by a colonist!
Some mods i reccomend is: -harvest post mortem, allows to harves organs out of dead bodies. -Orions Therapy to treat your colonists becausr their mom died. And for people who like to suffer yo can add a combination of the V.O.I.D storyteller and the V.O.I.D faction, you will se true abomonations and the death is common
You probably already know this, but man your thumbnails are really good lol also cool list. Matches my power fantasy style I need a couple of these now
All of the eccentric tech is awesome. Those 30k watts of generation from the nuclear reactor are amazing. I suggest looking into Eccentric's Angels modlist in the workshop. It contains eccentric tech but also a ton more mods. There are some really good mods there that add things that aren't necessary but will make your life so much easier Edit: Typo
It's been maybe 8 months since I last played rimworld, but my last game had Kraltech in it and it's insanely OP, if you're using it you MUST complete that research (and start building weapons/armor from it) as fast as possible or you'll get absolutely roflstomped by the mechs it adds. Or at least that's how it was set up then. It may of been balanced since. Void has NOTHING on Kraltech.
Definetely install melly animatons Are there any Gardenong mods that add crops or even rework whole farming system (just new crops is enough too) but don't give "crops for all situations"? I installed vanilla expanded and it was cools but it gave some crops that are overpowered and completely ruin winter game as they can grow in cold.
Pordon me for asking but what is that obsidia expqnsion mod i did try it and i got lost, way too many new staff for my lazy brain to look at all at once't .
How do i make it so that my colonists arent dumb as bricks? Like, these idiots keep complaining about their rooms being dirty but they wont clean unless i specifically make them janitors. Or when i tell my gardeners to harvest a patch or sow plants. They will do one square before screwing off to do some other BS.
@@KokoplaysMB yeah even with job priorities set properly, I have issues. Like earlier when my corn got infected with blight. I set 3 pawns to only do plant cutting and then instructed them to cut the blighted plants (yes, I marked them all for cutting) My pawns cut the one square I sent them to and then they went off to harvest some other patch of plants. I had to go around and disable sowing/cutting for every single grow zone other than the infected one. Only then did my guys cut the right plants.
Kraltech Industries is an interesting mod, but it is extremely unbalanced, I think this mod is so strong that everything revolves around it, leaving all the rest of the content aside, if the mechs were a little (A LOT) less strong, it could be better
Yeah it is, but I've been messing with it on dev mode with quality bionics and, well... I have colonist with 99999 movement speed with Krals executive bionics. Granted quality bionics, which adds quality to bionics, makes a legendary bionic double it's efficency stat, so that's just... Unbalanced. that's not Kral but Krals gear can add insane stats, it's bionics as well, I believe the cool thing about this mod is much like the VOID it puts the player on a luck driven clock. They are guns provided by the mod you must get asap lol I had CE guns that can burn through mech and when I turned this mod on, I had to dev mode the raid in order to move on because regular bullets bounce off them, then I finally built the Kral guns, their shield bubbles burst with mech slayers and the anti snipers one shot the mechs. So yeah, mechs jumping you before you get the weapons... You're dead. New game. Mechs after you get the weapons and armor and OP shields.... Meh. But I find it interesting though that these guns, at least on CE never one shots human raiders especially Empire members in any kind of armor, it's a lil mini shoot out but eventually laser guns rip them open, anti gun though is a joke 😂 I watched my OP guns shot a pigskin for a good 2 mins in a Trooper armour and its taking bruises... As dude slowly walks away from us. So yeah the guns, at least on CE is for the mechs I wouldn't call these mods unbalanced Kral and VOID are two mods that change Rimworld from colony sim to power fantasy, much like XCOM void and Kral makes you start vulnerable but if you stay alive you, you become a demi God that oppresses anything that looks at you wrong. But that's not the intent of Rimworld, as a story generator, you must always be somewhat vulnerable to the world. This mod removes that once you acquire power. But it's really about the journey, at that point of God tier I start a new colony anyways
10 chapters - 20 mods, some chapters have 3 mods covered in them Chapters are great QoL for viewers to easily move through long videos or list-type videos. @@KokoplaysMB

Nice there were some really good mods in this, and I spend ALOT of time scouring the workshop page
Glad you enjoyed it!
I like that some of the mechs in Kraltech are very obviously inspired by Kenshi
i still have PTSD from times when aurora mechs emerged from wounded soldiers in hospital, what a time...
I am so glad Steve recommended this video to me

Nice to see a fan of Biomes! Prehistoric :D
It's so good to be using it on Ultra Modded
Awesome video Koko! As usual.

WOW! New to Rimworld, but wow those modes really should add a ton of fun. Thanks a lot!
Glad you like em!
Are you using some kind of texture pack also?
Yes, it's called terrain overhaul

I love these mod options, i hope that they rework them for 1.5, since i NEED anomaly and the books
I'd say good chance we see all of these in 1.5
They seem really interesting but can we use these mods in 1.5 version of the game

Brighter Blood and Blood and Stains mods.

try and find a mod where you can add stairs and floors so you can go to floor one to floor two so you can stack buildings
