    I just replaced the rear speakers on my suv with a 2 way component speakers from Ct sounds, the 6.5 with tweeters and crossover and let me just say wow!! They added so much bass that I had to lower the bass from my dual 12 subs. And that's without a 4 channel amplifier running the car door speakers. I can just imagine once I power them with the amplifier. I was planning to get skar or Hyanka but when I saw this company is from my hometown and new in the game, I decided to give them a chance and I don't regret it at all whatsoever. Not to mention, most reviews are positive and that's a qualifying factor hard to please nowadays. I only regret not knowing about them sooner. If you have a doubt, make your research of course but I guarantee you that you won't be disappointed. I used to be skeptical with lesser known brands but this company makes quality, it's worth every single cent.

    I'm about to get a set of 3 ways and a meso 15 for my Dad's CLK430. I think he's going to be happy with that system. He would probably never spend that kinda money on speakers for himself but he got me into audio so I want to build him a good daily system.

    I just got 2 sets of the Meso 6.5’s and a ATv2-150.6d to drive em. Gotta do a bunch of crap to get them installed in my 06 IS250. I've studied SO MANY HOURS of wiring diagrams and different OE integration systems every spare minute I've had the past few weeks...Nightmare install but they're gonna sound better than the OEM, Pioneer amplified, non removable HVAC intertwined clusterfizzle that's EQ'd up the wazoo(another $500+ for an aftermarket fascia, but that's Phase 2ish, gotta eat the 🐘 in front of me first) 🤮😖😩😩 Subs eventually but seriously, to do this install, the $850 or whatever in speakers and amps is hopefully almost half of the whole price once finished... And I'm doing the work myself, can't imagine letting some rando freshly blazed off lunch break hack my ol' girl up. She's particular and knows what she likes. Gotta warm her up, be gentle. We'll EVENTUALLY get to the pounding we all love so much but ya gotta build up to it, ya know??🤣🤣

There is a factory sub in the window but no regular speakers except for in the rear doors... It's going in a 2007 Lexus ES 350 and every installer I ask is afraid to fool with it! I personally do not want to connect to my door speakers in the rear. I'd much rather to either splice into my factory amp or if it is possible hook them up to my aftermarket amp. @@SheDevilsGarage just ask us we'll tell you. Let us know what amps you have & I or someone else who sees your comment will give you solid info. Just remember you can never go too big with wire, only too small. So when in doubt always go the next size larger when it comes to wires. For most your 4 channel mids/highs amps 4 ga ofc power/ground will be plenty sufficient. Some only need 8 ga ofc but no more then 4 ga ofc wire costs I'd just go with the 4 gauge. Now like for 1200 watt rms and bigger sub amps I would run nothing smaller that 1/0 ga ofc. Always wanna make sure ya use wire that's gonna allow the amperage to run freely. If your power & speaker wires aren't getting warm after running your system hard for an hour or longer then you know you're using the right wire.

    12" Kicker comp c or 12" skar sdr which is the best looking to get my first setup

      If money is no issue Kacper makes better quality but scar subs are very well also but they are budget friendly and handle more power kicker subs are expensive because of all the research and development they put into them I am running scar everything even down to the Wiring and have absolutely no issues with none of my amps subwoofers or call axle and component speakers I am scarred for life

    One question... I'm trying to install speakers for the door of my truck, which speakers do you think are the best?

    • @shaggnasty3068
      @shaggnasty3068 3 роки тому

      It all depends on how much money you want to spend because if you don't want to spend a lot of money then pick out a pair of speakers that are closer to the RMS output of your deck And I know CT sounds and ds18 make lower line coaxials and components that are better matched for the output of an aftermarket deck versus an External amplifier if you have a factory deck your best bet is DSP and an aftermarket amp to push your mids and highs

      THESE R some really good door speakers

    Did the taramp's dsp suck?

  • @MichaelJohnson-je2vo
    @MichaelJohnson-je2vo 3 роки тому

    I know I was going to mention the Pontiac too but how much did those three ways cost you and the tweets don't hold 250 Watts how do you prevent overloading them I know the crossover limits The frequency but what about the power

    • @shaggnasty3068
      @shaggnasty3068 3 роки тому

      Generally you'll get a power rating for the whole component set and when hooked up to the crossover usually it separates it out like on a three-way component That's rated at 4 ohms usually the three and a half and the Tweeter will be 8 ohms so already naturally they're going to draw less power from the amp

    • @shaggnasty3068
      @shaggnasty3068 3 роки тому +2

      Also even if it's rated at 150 RMS for each component side and your amp pushes 200 RMS you'll be fine as long as you keep your gains turned down. When you overpower your mission highs you can always adjust the gains it's under powering that makes them sound like crap when you turn it up loud

    Hey parker, in your opinion would those be loud enough to play with 2 12” tropo XLs or would they get drowned out from the bass

    • @shaggnasty3068
      @shaggnasty3068 3 роки тому +2

      Yes pretty much any aftermarket coaxial or component set when run to an amplifier is going to keep up with a couple 12s

    • @chadjay828
      @chadjay828 2 роки тому

      They will run with those 12s as long as you run the 6 1/2‘s to an amp
