I just replaced the rear speakers on my suv with a 2 way component speakers from Ct sounds, the 6.5 with tweeters and crossover and let me just say wow!! They added so much bass that I had to lower the bass from my dual 12 subs. And that's without a 4 channel amplifier running the car door speakers. It all depends on how much money you want to spend because if you don't want to spend a lot of money then pick out a pair of speakers that are closer to the RMS output of your deck And I know CT sounds and ds18 make lower line coaxials and components that are better matched for the output of an aftermarket deck versus an External amplifier if you have a factory deck your best bet is DSP and an aftermarket amp to push your mids and highs
I know I was going to mention the Pontiac too but how much did those three ways cost you and the tweets don't hold 250 Watts how do you prevent overloading them I know the crossover limits The frequency but what about the power
Generally you'll get a power rating for the whole component set and when hooked up to the crossover usually it separates it out like on a three-way component That's rated at 4 ohms usually the three and a half and the Tweeter will be 8 ohms so already naturally they're going to draw less power from the amp
Also even if it's rated at 150 RMS for each component side and your amp pushes 200 RMS you'll be fine as long as you keep your gains turned down. When you overpower your mission highs you can always adjust the gains it's under powering that makes them sound like crap when you turn it up loud

So Would 4 channel work somehow? Or should i get a 5 or 6 channel amp? Pleaeeeeeeessse say something! Lol one
One question... I'm trying to install speakers for the door of my truck, which speakers do you think are the best?
It all depends on how much money you want to spend because if you don't want to spend a lot of money then pick out a pair of speakers that are closer to the RMS output of your deck And I know CT sounds and ds18 make lower line coaxials and components that are better matched for the output of an aftermarket deck versus an External amplifier if you have a factory deck your best bet is DSP and an aftermarket amp to push your mids and highs
THESE R some really good door speakers
Did the taramp's dsp suck?
Okay I can dig it thanks
Hey can i hook 2- 350watts 4ohm 6×9's to a 3 way Crossover CRX-303 300 Watts Passive Crossover Car Audio Tweeter
What's the going price for them
Can I have the name of the find my way home song again please
Hey parker, in your opinion would those be loud enough to play with 2 12” tropo XLs or would they get drowned out from the bass
Yes pretty much any aftermarket coaxial or component set when run to an amplifier is going to keep up with a couple 12s
They will run with those 12s as long as you run the 6 1/2‘s to an amp
They sound great. I already got the 2 ways but want these in my truck.
Do they have good mid bass
When can i see the avart svl sub
