    When have condo's been more than a detached house. Condo's have always been less expensive than a house.
    Anyhow what was monthly maintenance cost 600, 800 dollars?
    It was actually a nice size, but to many windows for me. And definitely in a awesome location. The price is expensive however. Way out of my price range by at least $755,000.00

      Welcome to Toronto! 😃
      Maintenance is $1308
      I’m with you on the size , it is nice. Corner units tend to have more windows than the latter, also great location for sure.
      You can still get a nice condo for 755k less!
      Email me if you’d like to discuss what the true potential is with 755k less!

    sadly that appartment wll soon live through about 4-5 years of construction when the Frank Gehry towers start construction and the only view they will have is a view of another condo right across the side and very little sun light.....and this area of downtown can ge rather noisy with som of the bars and clubs. but perfect for someone who likes that....having said that what 27 year old has 1.4 million to buy at todays interest rates plus condo fees.

    For the same price you can literally buy a detached brick house in Leslieville, Little Italy, anywhere along the Bloor-Danforth line. Makes no sense to buy the condo when you can get an entire detached house.

      East Danforth is a great place! I was there the other day with a client and you can find good semi’s around 1m give or take.
      Little Italy , Leslieville are good too!

      A house with the roof caving in, that you have to spend 30k to replace ?

    Kiddo, you need to hold your camera up a bit higher so we are not staring up your nose. Otherwise a decent video.

      Oh I’m with ya, one can definitely buy more outside of the GTA area. At the end of the day, what you spend with your hard earned money is your choice. Thanks for watching! 🙏

      Hey Steve thanks for watching! I’m totally with ya , its not suitable for some and I’m open to hearing what is worth it for you so I can potentially make a video on it!
      If you do give a suggestion please make it in toronto or the GTA for traveling purposes 😆
      Happy New Years btw!

      To be honest with you @@LifeinToronto- I think all skyhomes (ie condos) are worth very little in my opinion, and that's even taking into consideration ideal location, ideal structure (ie concrete, soundproof etc) builds. Top reason why I think these are not worth into the millions is a) condo fees. Condo fees turn condo owners into renters. What happens when you refuse to pay a condo fee? I haven't been in this situation but I assume they put a lien against your property (ie condo). Reason b) not ideal for families of more than 3. One aspect of this reason is multi fold, if you are making a sound investment in the condo market, location is paramount. Guess what? Taking the locations of these condos into account, I personally would not want to raise a family anywhere near them.
      Essentially it boils down to the real factor as to why these condos are priced they way they are, and that is a store of value for the multi-millionaire, and billionaire class.
      Good luck selling!

    Entertainment district is very loud.

    • @LifeinToronto-
      @LifeinToronto-  9 місяців тому

      Yes it can be loud! If you’re not a local , wait until you adventure some other places like the financial district or garden district haha! The city life will bring lots of noise. To get away from it the east end (danforth area) and west end (liberty village, little Italy, etc) are much quieter and still close by for those who want less noise :)

    For 1.4 million Id want a condo with a gas range, not electric.

    • @LifeinToronto-
      @LifeinToronto-  8 місяців тому

      You’re speaking my language! Gas stoves are great and there will be tours with homes that have gas stoves so stay tuned for those.
      Thanks for watching 😃
