Hey! Good luck prepping for college! I think at howard, any student who applied (and got accepted) early action as a biology major with an SAT of 1300+ should get an invitation to apply to the BS/MD program. My dream college is Howard and this year I’ll be taking the SAT and will have a chance to gain Grant Merit depending on how well I do. Idk what my current rank is but when I was a freshman I was ranked 14 My gpa is a 4.6 (I am in the Cambridge program and also take ap classes) idk what my unweighted gpa is and I’m aiming for valedictorian I attend a predominantly white school and I sometimes feel like I am not told helpful information purposefully so thank you so much for this video!

I just started my channel recently (which is why I didn't make this video years ago LOL) but I still wanted to make this video to help out people who are interested in Howard because I know firsthand that the college application process could be difficult to navigate! Hello! Howard does accept many international students fortunately, but your acceptance depends on a variety of factors. Basically the same ones i described throughout this video (to my knowledge at least). Do note that i’m not an international student and i applied to howard 5 years ago so i dont know the full process for you post-covid
hello, i was wondering if you think i could get into howard university with a 3.4 i have only taken honors classes in highschool and 5 AP classes, i’ve started a club and i am vice president of one as well. i’ve done cheer and been in women empowerment club along with working a job and babysitting
Hey! It depends on your SAT score. The top merit based scholarship (presidential) I believe requires a 3.75 GPA (i’m not 100% sure tho), but with your GPA your SAT score would be the main determining factor. I don’t know how this has changed or how it would apply with covid and test-optional applications.

Hey! I did get a scholarship. I got the Capstone scholarship (merit-based scholarship) with an SAT score not much higher than yours, which basically covers tuition, but does not cover housing and meal plans. I can't remember what the GPA requirement for my scholarship was (3.25 maybe? 3.5?), but the SAT requirement was a 1300 I think? I also got a good amount of need-based scholarships. I don't know how covid has affected the amount of financial aid howard is giving, but this is what I got.
@@oreofeoladapo Yeah I got it ! If I get full tution and fees I will be satisfied and just submitted my application , pray 4 me plus my GPA would be around 3.7-3.8 coz I did alevels so can't tell my exact GPA

Yes I believe so, if you have the SAT/ACT score and GPA to qualify for the presidential scholarship

I honestly don’t remember 100% but i think so! They may do it electronically now, I’m not sure
