Haily you are the best teacher and my dream is South Korea because I learn Korean language so very thank you I am from India and I will come South Korea 😊
That's a good idea about the post it notes and seeing them whenever you go by or use that object. Soon you'll have everything in your house memorized then because you seem so often!
I love watching your videos! You are very animated and expressive and you explain really well. I've just had 3 Korean lessons so if I watch any show in Korean, I'll need a very big notebook!! Haha. Thank you for the tips and keep it up, Hailey!👍
I welcome the day It only takes me less than 30 minutes to remember 4:56😊however, I am at step one and starting to learn basic nouns. I wanted to understand Hangul before the year ended to focus on reading and speaking throughout the following year. You're the best! 감사합니다👍
i knwwlets of languages and learning korean is pretty, here's how! step 1: frequncy list of korean 2: make anki flashcars of 20 vocabulary per day and increase the number if you have super mega mind brain the reason why im telling you to use anki is because it uses space repitition system, its great by the end of 5 months youll be able to understand and talk in korean 3000 to 5000 is enough vocabulary yo reach the flueny level btw
i’ve been doing that but i can barely handle learning 20 words a week 😭 also i’ve already added nearly everything around my house and i don’t know what direction to go in now
Sorry, how can you say, that Korean Grammar is the most difficult Grammar when Korean Grammar has only 3 Verb tenses, yet in English there are a whopping 12 verb-tenses?
And that's it all about? the tenses of verbs? Koreans have so many sentences endings, so many options to say "I, You" or how to talk to different people you know- elders, teachers, parents, people your age. Koreans have so many endings for "if", endings for good/ bad, endings for questions, endings for polite or impolite. Koreans have so many words for "like', same", have many words for everything but in a way that you cannot understand when do you need to use what XD At least for me. While English for me was very easy to learn, also Spanish, and even Arabic which is also quite difficult. Im still struggling with Korean. It's not about verbs unfortunately. Verbs is also very unusual at their side. Omg in English the most common is the future, present and the ordinary past XD you only put ed and there are even verbs that you dont need to use ed like - put, cut. SO easy @@chrisbriscoe3483
You're right about grammar being hard but when you put it into perspective, you cant say anything without words. You can't make sentences or use grammar without them too. So rather than vocabulary being hard. Its just so many words go learn and use before you can start making a lot of sentences and using grammar correctly. I found myself realizing this when i talk to koreans for practice. You can learn and understand grammar the more you speak.
@@tiona5089 no no no, there are so many small things in Korean im not even sure why are they used like small little suffixes that are so unbelievably hard. nothing like that found in English. English is the easiest. it's even easiest than my language
감사함니다 for the 삼 steps Hailey! I already do the topic step. You made a very good point about writing words down from dramas and how it reminds us of the context of the drama. I always make clips of my favorite scenes from my favorite dramas. I watch the scenes every so often so lots of opportunities for review. Many of the scenes are fighting scenes though where there is no talking. That kind of defeats the purpose. lol. Jang Hyuk (장혁). My favorite actor.
MMMM, the vocabulary is not the hardest. The hardest thing for me is listening. Can you make a video about how I can improve on my listening skills? Do you accept 1 on 1 lessons maybe on Italki?
This steps also helps me to learn Korean. Now, I can even catch words when watching variety shows. Which has a much faster phase talking and natural tone. Also, have a beautiful teach like Hailey. :)
I actually just cut some bits of paper into little flash cards and practice them everyday. I write the english word on one side and then korean word in hangeul on the other. You can practice them either way too
I'm from Indonesia, now I'm learning Korean to take the Korean language exam held by HRDK. I hope next year I can pass the exam and be able to work in South Korea, thank you.😇
I have watched your all videos since you started and now thanks to you I have learn all important phrases I will keep supporting and learning with you i have found the best teacher❤️
📌 This 21-Day Challenge is perfect for you if ✅ You’re a beginner Korean learner ✅ You want to build a habit of studying Korean little by little 🧩 Link : koreanhailey.com/25/?idx=10
That’s my struggle since I’m not familiar at allllll with Asian languages..all the languages I learned are Latin..so the similarities between them makes it way easier…but Korean !!!!! Not a single word I can guess its meaning by just reading it..not a single word..so it’s a completely new system for me and don’t let me start with the writing I can’t imagine myself writing words without messing up the vowels my brain might remember the word and the pronunciation but goodbye for the way it is written 👀😅
To be honest, I listen to Kpop songs and I also watch their vlogs even though I don't understand yet, but it's ok I'll just keep doing it because I really want to learn Korean 😊
❤❤ thank you so much for your videos. I really like your teaching approach ❤ it's sweet, funny and 'easy' to understand (YOU make it easy💖😍) greetings from Italy🇮🇹🥰

This is a good way to end up with tip of the tongue syndrome. Use active recall techniques amd recreate the knowledge from memory.
Learn English vocabulary is really easy for me but learn Korean vocabulary is so hard. I forgot every word. It's really hard.😭

In my opinion their grammar is the most difficult I have ever encountered, their vocabulary is very easy to learn
