When I was a rookie in learning English, I would write down in a notebook the new words I encountered and figure out their meaning, but as the months went by, I realized that I barely remembered them. However, after watching your video and gradually applying your fourth piece of advice, my progress increased. I modified my learning by integrating the new words into my daily routine. To name a few examples, I would talk to myself in front of the mirror about my plans for the day, describe the things I saw while commuting to college, and start commenting on social media. I really appreciate your dedication to sharing your knowledge. It has helped me make real progress and not give up along the way. Thank you so much!
i realize that the most important things while learning english is be patient, and u just validation it. and u just give a solution for any reason. i think do the comment will help so much. i love the way u talk about english. incredible!
Youglish is actually so cool. I speak english natively and fluently but I use youglish whenever i hear a word I don't know. I look up the definition and use Youglish to hear it being used in sentences. Thank you
woawoo I got three new lessons from you: record a video once per week, stop memorize but practice or use the words, and learn like a baby. I appreciate your job.
Hi Veronika. You are so efficient and effective learning English. I am an industrial engineering student and I think thing that you use the technology very well.
Thank you for everything, I literally need this video because sometimes I just want to give up, because of my speaking skills, even though I'm improving in every other skill and I really have a great accent, if I only knew how to do it Develop my speaking skills I think I will sound like a native English speaker.
Thanks for cutting to the chase . As someone who's been learning English for years I relate to the tips you provided. To anyone who feels they are not progressing in their learning journey, I am certain these tips will work wonders. Keep your heads up and keep learning 😊
A pleasure to greet you, I love this video because you teach us the correct way to acquire vocabulary, in context and without the boring of memorizing, phrases with slangs, idioms, phrasal verbs and grammatical contractions are essential to understand and then be understood, thanks a lot for your contribution.

Thank you for sharing so many techniques. I found it difficult to memorize advanced vocabulary. So I will use your techniques to remember the vocabulary with contentext, record myself, and enjoy the progress.
Recently, I started learning English from a series on Disney Plus called Modern Family. In the past, I usually tried to force myself to memorize things I didn't know and I was not interested in, however I found it awful, I forgot them after a day, and now I try to learn the things connected to my life and useful.
i have almost finished learning n5 kanji and now i understand that vocabulary should be first priority i can read 先生 as せんせい because i know sensei meaning and i remember it crystal clear so know i know 先 reading is せん and 生 reading is せい
Thank you ❤ I have 2 questions i hope you answer me : 1- when I learn a new vocabulary do I need to learn prefixes and suffixes of the words? 2- which channel do you recommend to learn vocabulary?
1) Hmm, it would say it depends on whether YOU think it will help you understand and remember the words faster. I think understanding the structure of the word is important. 2) I think you should learn new vocabulary by watching videos from people on the topics that you enjoy learning more about. For me, it's vlogs, nutrition videos, travel content.
Keep enjoying and having fun with the language which is the fastest way to become fluently at any languages. I will make a priority for learning to use actively what you already know. Thank you for your sharing and have a lovely day
Thank you a lot for exchange with us your knowledge. As a english learner i now i make mistake, but I am also commited to develop myself to a great fluent level and for sure, I am going to apply those tips that you give us. Again thank you so much. New follower.
I beg to differ here with you. In my case, I've been making a list of vocabulary (verbs, phrasal verbs, adjectives phrases, specific vocabulary about money, health, clothes, the weather, so forth) over the years along with its collocations to master my English as much as possible and a couple of examples made by myself and I must say it pretty works. It all boils down to the effort oneself makes to improve our language skills. It also comes in handy when you want to apply the usage of synonyms allowing us to expand our vocabulary span Love your videos Veronika, keep rocking it ❤
I think it's important to remember that language learning is a VERY personal journey and we all might have different experiences. Thank you so much for sharing with us what worked for you! I'm sure many people will find it super helpful too :)
Do you translate with your first language when you memorize the vocab or just understand the context of vocab without not know the meaning of that vocab?
