Beppy is my favorite. I just love the whole design from the background to the character himself and I loved all the phases and how creative they were. It also had a decent challenge to it.

A boss being hard shouldn’t be the reason you hate it (unless it’s entirely RNG like Honeybottoms) which is why I love pretty much every boss in the game.

Recently been working on S clears and Dijimi was one of the first I completed, not too difficult in my opinion, I used coffee and got as many parry’s as possible because it’s hard to get under 2 minutes unless you’re constantly a nuclear ward head
@LiLFishy For Wally run 2 extra hearts, then parry the rings 3 times before you damage enough for phase two, on phase 2 just damage and don’t worry about a hit or two, stage 3 you need to use fireball or wait for flamethrower for damage, time doesn’t matter when S tiering
@LiLFishy On dijimi use 2 extra hearts also and reset until sword phase one, constantly get damage and parrys and save your party until fourth stage, 3rd stage you sit at very top middle with bomb killing the ghost and getting damage, 4th use super and try to parry 1 or 2 of his attacks, 5th use super if you got it and just focus on the triangles eyes and his shooting, then it’s an easy S tier
I got S on every level in isle 1 and got to dijimi and it took me like 2 hours the plane levels on expert are so tanky your finish at like 2:15 every time
King dice is very rng dependent for S ranking. If you can get a run where at least 2/3 of your mini bosses have an extra life attached to them, it’s as easy as brineybeard.
That was a lot of fun to watch, even though I'm barely good enough to play Cuphead on standard mode taking fifty attempts to beat each boss. Good charm and humour! Thanks for making it.

Grim Matchstick was the most difficult for me by far. Took so long to finish and I think that is why Grim is my favorite. I truly love all the bosses, they all have so much character. After playing the game for 27 hours, I beat the devil.
Gotta say i'm surprised you find Wally Warbles hard but also he is my favorite boss and like you i play him a lot for fun so i know all his tricks. I just can't resist that bop of a theme.

Werner Werman was my second S-ranked boss (root pack 1st) I don't really know why but I think it was because at the time he was my favourite boss in the game. Now King Dice is probably my favourite fight. I love how you roll a die to choose the miniboss you fight. It's just so different to all the other fights in my opinion it's really really cool.

Great video! For Wally Warbles, best way to dodge egg shell is to just stay at the far left of the screen. Actually it's best to stay at the far left of the screen for phase 1 and 2 because all the attacks are angled (except the little birds) and it's just easier to dodge angled attacks at a farther distance
Just for your knowledge, Cagney’s Idle Animation is a reference to Monroe Silver, who did the same dance in his routine, and an old Fliescher Cartoon named Swing You Sinners where Bimbo(the main character) encounters a ghost doing the same dance.
Believe it or not, I don't swear at all. It's a habit I've built up for almost 21 years. Yes, I play this game. And yes, it makes me rage. Pretty bad! But no, I don't swear!
The saucers on Hildaberg work like this actually: both brown and red fire only when you're close to them. However, the red ones you go through as fast as you can because they sort of have a delayed attack so they won't hit you. The brown ones fire right before you're under them, so it's impossible to not get hit by them if you just go through. Even if you use mini mode. The trick here is to back away right before you're under them. Once they're done firing their beam, you can go under them easily cuz they won't fire again. You have to trigger all of this early though, otherwise you won't have enough distance to avoid the beam.
For about half an hour, I struggled with Djimmi on Expert, but when I learned how to free Game Djimmi, I feel like he sent me a thank you by letting me beat him on my second try after.
Ik this was 4 years ago, but ribby and croaks are really easy with lobber and round about. First face use roundabout and try to parry the fists for the S rank, and then save ur super for second phase, then as soon as you jump over him, while in the air, super. Then use your lobber because any way you shoot the lob in that phase it will hit one. Use lob ex’s, then for 3rd phase I recommend using roundabout for bull, and lobber for frog and tiger, as the bull you might not be facing forward the whole time. Then that S rank is easy as yours
For your first 'big' bossfight, Cagney Carnation is really tough. I call him the first big fight because he's at the very end of everything, seated right outside the entrance to isle two, which makes him look like the big fight that he is for the skill level of new players at that point.
Still play this game, and for me, King Dice still has always been the hardest boss for me, no matter what difficulty. It's not the mini phases that were the problem, it was him himself that was the problem at the end.
The worst thing to me with Ribby and Croaks was in the fan phase I would hit there LEGS so many times trying to back up or go forward. I got better but it still gets me sometimes.
I love Beppi the clown :D he has really cool animation like the ballon part and the carousel, I like the dogs and penguins it makes the level more challenging which is pretty nice to me. :)

Ya know, in the last phase of rumour honeybottoms the lobber is intended, or the roundabout (facing upwards) because they both move through the platforms and will almost always hit.

I LOVE making them. When I made this I stayed up all night until morning, even missed out on some important stuff because of it (I just fell asleep when I wanted to rest for 10 min). I actually really like Dr. Kahl's Robot. It is indeed insanely challenging, but it has great design, and good strategies you need to use. Also it is just absolute CHAOS, which makes it fun to repeatedly play.

Here's a strat that I always use on beppi's 2nd phase, When you parry on the nose of the roller coaster, have spread and special when your in front of beppi, you can even parry on one of the dogs to get up there
I usually ignored most of the npcs that would talk to you, including that guy that gives you bomb weapon for plane bosses, and i remember how painful Wally Warbles was, it took me days to beat him...

Great video! For Wally Warbles, best way to dodge egg shell is to just stay at the far left of the screen. Actually it's best to stay at the far left of the screen for phase 1 and 2 because all the attacks are angled (except the little birds) and it's just easier to dodge angled attacks at a farther distance
In expert mode, the eggs deny that left screen privilege

Believe it or not, I don't swear at all. It's a habit I've built up for almost 21 years.
Yes, I play this game. And yes, it makes me rage. Pretty bad! But no, I don't swear!
The saucers on Hildaberg work like this actually: both brown and red fire only when you're close to them. However, the red ones you go through as fast as you can because they sort of have a delayed attack so they won't hit you.
The brown ones fire right before you're under them, so it's impossible to not get hit by them if you just go through. Even if you use mini mode. The trick here is to back away right before you're under them. Once they're done firing their beam, you can go under them easily cuz they won't fire again. You have to trigger all of this early though, otherwise you won't have enough distance to avoid the beam.
For about half an hour, I struggled with Djimmi on Expert, but when I learned how to free Game Djimmi, I feel like he sent me a thank you by letting me beat him on my second try after.

Ik this was 4 years ago, but ribby and croaks are really easy with lobber and round about. First face use roundabout and try to parry the fists for the S rank, and then save ur super for second phase, then as soon as you jump over him, while in the air, super. Then use your lobber because any way you shoot the lob in that phase it will hit one. Use lob ex’s, then for 3rd phase I recommend using roundabout for bull, and lobber for frog and tiger, as the bull you might not be facing forward the whole time. Then that S rank is easy as yours
For your first 'big' bossfight, Cagney Carnation is really tough. I call him the first big fight because he's at the very end of everything, seated right outside the entrance to isle two, which makes him look like the big fight that he is for the skill level of new players at that point.

Still play this game, and for me, King Dice still has always been the hardest boss for me, no matter what difficulty. It's not the mini phases that were the problem, it was him himself that was the problem at the end.

I LOVE making them. When I made this I stayed up all night until morning, even missed out on some important stuff because of it (I just fell asleep when I wanted to rest for 10 min). But mostly, I love the feedback. Missing out on that stuff was a big blow but the nice comments like this one cheers me up again :)
I actually really like Dr. Kahl's Robot. It is indeed insanely challenging, but it has great design, and good strategies you need to use. Also it is just absolute CHAOS, which makes it fun to repeatedly play.

I definitely agree that for some reason, grim was pretty easy to S rank. Really the hardest part was the parry’s, but 2nd and last phases were a piece of cakes
Here's a strat that I always use on beppi's 2nd phase, When you parry on the nose of the roller coaster, have spread and special when your in front of beppi, you can even parry on one of the dogs to get up there
I usually ignored most of the npcs that would talk to you, including that guy that gives you bomb weapon for plane bosses, and i remember how painful Wally Warbles was, it took me days to beat him...
