This was great, thank you; your accent in English is very good! You have a British accent and should keep at that, it's 90% good, a few very minor things (kh in one place instead of h). H in English doesn't use the cheek muscles it's entirely from the open throat, which is why the British H tends to be entirely silent. There's little sound there to start with, just air really no clicks or grunts or anything but a clear stream of air. Anyway YOU SPEAK ENGLISH REALLY WELL!!! This lecture was enjoyable and very well read. Spasibo za urok!

I find it difficult to speak English after Russian. There is too little time for my tongue to switch to the new system of sounds 😅 And I have been neglecting my English a lot lately. I need to listen to British English at least for a couple of minutes a day so I can maintain my pronunciation. Thank you for your comment!

    你的故事有意思!Your biography is very impressive.
Obwohl ich kein Turkisch kann, haben wir wenigstens drei gemeinsame Sprachen! I guess you know Lazarett is German for nursing station, well, now you will remember that for sure. 1) Chinese poetry is best 2) German short stories are best. If you require reading lists for either of those languages I would be happy to provide them. I can give you plenty of things you might like to read in English but you probably need no help that way.

Thank you! We also have this word in Russian. Probably we borrowed it from German. And what's your native language?
