Acupuncture is a form of alternative medicine and a key component of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in which thin needles are inserted into the body. There is a range of acupuncture variants originating in different philosophies, and techniques vary depending on the country in which it is performed. It is most often used to attempt pain relief, though it is also recommended by acupuncturists for a wide range of other conditions. Acupuncture is generally used only in combination with other forms of treatment.

Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) is a term used for an experience characterized by a static-like or tingling sensation on the skin that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine. It has been compared with auditory-tactile synesthesia. ASMR signifies the subjective experience of "low-grade euphoria" characterised by "a combination of positive feelings and a distinct static-like tingling sensation on the skin". It is most commonly triggered by specific acoustic, visual and digital media stimuli, and less commonly by intentional attentional control.

Its weird to me how many times a year i’ll come back to this video, its just that good
The way you start out this video, and as the video goes on, gives it a very oddly real feel. It feels very personal, the way you seem to get emotional when learning about the viewer’s condition, and there’s this “we can do this together” vibe throughout the video.
The title sounded pretty generic, but I had faith that you would make sweet love to our ears even if it was a generic procedure. Then I read the video description and I knew this was going to be pure gold (and it was!). Lots of fun sounds, nice dialog, memorable steps to the procedure, and doctorly hugs. Fantastic stuff. :D I've definitely gotta listen to this one again sometime it was so good.
I go to all these asmr medical visits and I havent stopped to think about the costs...
