Hardstyle Snatch RKC and StrongFirst - Breakdown and important info

  • Both RKC and StrongFirst use the Hardstyle approach but the movements used for the swing, clean, and snatch are different.
    A conventional hip hinge is two joints, the hips and the knees.
    The kettlebell world has many variations, and it's key to be able to identify the goals of each one and then use them at the right time.
    Moving the same weight with 3 instead of 2 joints makes it easier to move the weight.
    When more joints are involved you will be able to move more weight. When moving the same weight with fewer joints, you are stronger in the prime-mover muscles. 1RM 32kg 2 joints trumps 1RM 32kg 3 joints.
