My wife and I first rode Glentress, in the spring of 2001. It became our go to mountain biking spot, when we lived in Edinburgh. At first we used to cycle out there. Then we bought a car, ooh the luxury.
In 2003, we moved out to Sweden for work. We expected that we would be able to find some trails local to our home. There were none.
We got back into mountain biking last year, with our kids, who love it. We are planning a trip to Edinburgh, in the spring of 2023. Glentress is definitely a planned visit.
Thanks for uploading the video, it brought back some happy memories. If you are interested, you can look at our local trail (Rainbow) here in Sweden, on our channel 1x Bikes.

Spooky Wood Descent in to Super G then Hit Squad Hill is always a satifying run. Falla Brae red is always a nice finish too.

@@SearchMTB indeed! and fair few off-piste ones that are pretty great aswell, give them a go if your back again. They are a good stepping stone to the one on 'the Golfie'. See McTrail Rider's latest video fom Glentress for some of these trails.
