When You Want VALUE above ALL Else...// 2024 Nissan Sentra SV REVIEW!

- The 2024 Nissan Sentra SR is a lot of car for the money. At just $27k, the 2024 Nissan Sentra gives you loads of content and an attractive two tone interior space. While the exterior styling of the Nissan Sentra isn't as handsome as the Honda Civic or Mazda 3, the interior looks at least as nice as either of those for much less money. Sure, the materials aren't quite as good as the Civic or Mazda 3, but Nissan spends money where your hands fall and includes options like a surround view camera and puddle lights in an affordable compact car. Only the Chevy Trax really offers more value and space for the money, and the Buick Envista does more for a little more money, but the Nissan Sentra fuel economy is superior to both. What do you think of the refreshed Nissan Sentra and newly updated CVR automatic transmission. Would you be willing to give the Nissan Sentra a look? Megan loved the Sentra's new interior, and she also appreciated the way the Nissan Sentra drove. For people looking to save money, the Nissan Sentra is hard to beat. Let us know your thoughts!

I loved this review. Very fresh and natural.
Thanks so much!
Loved the review! I wasn’t even considering a Sentra until I watched this video. I test drove the Sentra, Civic, Corolla, Elantra, and Jetta. I actually went with the Sentra bc the ride was the best and it was the quieter of the bunch. I also got rebates and discounts from Nissan that dropped the price $4200! I got an identical one to the one you guys had for the review lol
Nice!
I have an SV, and its been great except that darn CVT. The first one gave out at ~40k miles, and this second one slips occasionally and I'm at 98k miles
That's a real bummer and certainly not helping Nissan's reputation. Sorry to hear it
are you having the cvt serviced at every 30,000 miles like i have heard is recommended?
Great review from both of you!... and your wife has so much personality!! Does she come with the car😂
Haha! Thank you! And sadly, no... 😜
I had a heads-up display on a Mazda I owned, and the problem with me having it was I always looked at it instead of my instrument cluster. I came very close to running out of gas several times because I never looked at the gas gauge. Now, if they had a heads-up display with the gas gauge on my windshield, i would have liked having a heads-up display.
That's an interesting point, but I could see how getting used to a HUD could make you forget about checking your gauges as often
It's a "Goldilocks" sedan! 😁
That's a good way of putting it
This is a truly helpful review! Both of your perspectives are of great use to an average consumer. I was so set on getting a Corolla but have been holding back because the cabin noise at high speed is VERY loud. I'll go test drive a Sentra now.
Thanks! Glad you found it useful 👍🏻
I bought a 22 Sentra SR Midnight back in April. After 6 months… I give it an 8.5 out of 10! It’s a beautiful vehicle, especially in the super black. Comfortable driving experience, cozy even. Smooth, quiet, great heating and ac (gets the cabin warm and cool swiftly). Brakes are amazing. My biggest issue that took 1.5 points off….Is the lack of power. 149 horsepower just is not it. My confidence in overtaking someone on the expressway, or jumping lanes from low speeds is just not there.
I would love to keep this car for the long haul (4 years and up), but I’m afraid I might get bored with it by then.
Glad to hear you like it
Great review Jax! The 2024 Sentra is incredible value for the money, especially after dealer discounts. Here in Dallas Texas, Nissan dealers are offering a $5000 discount on all new 2024 Nissan Sentra since they have an over supply. On the other hand, Toyota dealers are still charging over MSRP on new 2024 Toyota Corollas due to an under supply. So yeah, the Sentra is way cheaper than the Civic/Corolla/Mazda 3
Thanks so much! I think people would be VERY surprised with what they get for the price of the Nissan Sentra.
In a world of overpriced SUVs, this is more than welcomed!
It would be nice to get back to vehicles that don't break the bank
Please tell me how you found the puddle lights !
They were standard on our test vehicle
Thanks! Yes, it's a great value.
Absolutely is. We were very surprised
Don't like step on emergency brake you say? Wait until your ebrake goes into default, locks up and requires a 30 mile tow to dealer, If lucky you'll need that tow at 11PM. Hint, make sure you have Uber on your phone, you'll need it.
This sounds like a personal experience
@@jax1079 you got that right. BTW , tow truck driver said he frequently tows cars with locked ebrakes.
@@Hemond1 Hand brakes exist you know
