Best place for the existing stone, the extra fines will help it bind and stay on top of the fabric. Looks like you got the bulk of the work done, spreading stone should be fairly straightforward for you both 👍

Alex Osborne yeah I couldn’t be happier with how tight the driveway got. Loaded tri axles didn’t even leave a mark in it. It is kind of nice working close to home once in a while. Thanks for watching Alex

I can't believe u put a dirt sub base on a driveway it 'll be cracked in 2 weeks
Scott Atkinson it was the dirty stone that was already there. I just graded it Down to add more stone on top. This is the best customer I have and would never do anything to jeopardize that. If anything was to go wrong I would be back there fixing it free of charge and I’m not in the business of working for free. I promise you if it fails I will film it! Thanks for watching.

This 304 is but I have a lot of older equipment 1995 Cat 953, 2002 JD backhoe 04 JD 650 dozer and a bunch of others.

Thanks Brett. We do our best to take care of this stuff. Can’t afford downtime when we are in remote locations. We have a Peterbuilt single axle which is in some of our other videos to pull the 306.

Just curious why you used the 304 to do the grading for the sub base and not the bobcat? Seems like the bobcat would have been faster.
Turbopgt Brandon had the bobcat outback and I did think about it but the mini was working so good for cutting the old stone down and putting it in place I just stuck with it. I spent more time waiting on the new stone to get delivered then I did doing the whole job. Thanks for watching
What's the specs on that driveway felt? Is it 5oz. non woven geotextile? I need some for my driveway soon and there's a never ending selection of that stuff.
MW we used mirafi 500x woven. It’s what the customer had. Worked great. Thanks for watching 👍🏻

We have a Cat 242b rubber tire bought new in 14’. It’s a great machine and it in a bunch of our videos.

lml6.6 I think you are trying to say put dirt on the fabric? It’s not dirt it’s just the existing dirty stone that we knocked down and tracked in to then cover with fresh stone. We had heavy rain yesterday and it is nice and tight. Thanks for watching
Whats the story with the cutting edge on the back of the bucket?
MS Earthworks cat makes a smaller version of that same bucket I just had one custom-made bigger. The rear cutting edge comes in handy for grading and moving material away from you. If you have a mini you should definitely try one there are so many uses for it. Thank you for watching I hope I answered your question.
