30:34 Loved Mohit's depth and how they went about selling to China. The resilience it took to just build in the shadows, hoping in works out is underrated 💯

The more I heard Mohit the more I got impressed of just how knowledgeable he is and also the way of his articulation of the business model. Charging infra has always been a challenging problem but wasn't aware of how they attempted to tackle it with Rs 1 campaign and I am glad that they saw success and all of that happened in just last couple of years!
@caleb: You really bring out the best stories of startup world straight from the horse's mouth! Its always fascinates me to hear the back stories and the hardships people has to go through to start a new business.
One question that I expected to get answered was whether they have a role in Ather or Ola, or are they making their own proprietary OS?

    They're diversifying way too much.

This is a valid point to raise Pratyush, but I'm not so sure if it's reflective of the reality within the company or not.
I personally think the full stack approach is a great way for them to make the most of the current EV wave India is experiencing. As long as 1. Their unit economics are strong, 2. They don't spread themselves too thin and compromise on the customer experience pre or post sale/service, and 3. They don't fall into the venture capital growth at any cost trap, I think this multi-pronged approach could set them up nicely to control a large chunk of the EV infra market in coming years.
Sometimes product/service expansion really is the way to go, rather than incremental improvement in one lane. The smart dashboard hardware was a good starting point, but you're never going to be a household name just doing that. EV OS is also a really exciting opportunity, but will probably take many years and lots of money for network effects to take effect. Charging infra and the corresponding app are a relevant, important problem to solve for consumers and businesses, revenue can be used to fuel growth of other business verticals, and it makes the Bolt.Earth brand a respected household name if done right. The charging network feels like the short/mid-term fuel needed to propel the long-term ventures forward. What do you think? -Caleb

It's not diversification rather it is called chasing your customer.

Everything is fine but I don't know if the data you have mentioned about 3000 networks is right, there's no mentioning whether they're DC chargers or AC chargers. Probably AC I guess, so with this can't conclude that they're the largest network. There has to be specific mentioning of the chargers I guess.

Good to see about the peer to peer charging network. Few months back i had the idea of this, why we can't build a peer to peer charging ecosystem, I thought there is so much value in this. By this we can build a biggest charging infrastructure in the country. Small motels, homes in the national highways onboard to this system will reduce the range anxiety. We can give incentives to them who getting in to the system and take a part in the ev charger cost, by this we can attract more people in to this. This was my idea back, happy and little bit surprised(heard before that same idea will come for different peoples, currently experiencing it😂) to see this.❤
