I have been playing POE since closed beta on and off , and I'm still trying to figure things out 😂
My first bow tree ended with a node that makes totems detonate. My Siege Ballistas were better as bombs than as totems lol
I'm leaguestarting with my girlfriend, who's barely ever played before, so we've only just gotten to Dominus. I have never had this much fun playing PoE before. We really need to strategize to defeat the crucible mobs, and the reward is tremendous. My SST shield got like +50 max life, +0,6% life regen as the first passive, and then Allocates Sanctuary as the second. Bonkers! She's in love with your Toxic Rain Pathfinder, which I recommended to her. Thank you for helping me to have fun with her, Ziz.

I did RF this start and I was able to have it up and running at level 19 due to the new fire mastery node
get some papercuts and open sores on your hands and go feel how easy peasy that lemon squeeze is gonna be 😂

Fist short bow I picked up had a +1 socketed then first node on its skill tree rolled +1 bow gems
Idk why it took me so long to realize this, but momentum is poe testing their poe2 new style of skills. They are using momentum to see if a skill where you need to commit to standing still attacking for a certain period of time to get the full value of the skill is acceptable to their player base. Hearing ziz say I hate having to attack 3 times is what makes me believe this at least.
I won’t even lie, the death 110% got me.

When you channel the crucible the progressbar get a red flashing outline once you pass the first difficulty spike. Full charge always gives you blues+rare pack.
Always gives blue and yellow packs... Sounds interesting in maps
When I got to act 8 it was like 30% of the time also spawning a unique at max

I'm having crap luck with sockets and gear but even still this is my best league start ever. Having a blast and dieing much less than I normally do.

I chose RF Juggernaut as my league starter and I never had a smoother start into a league. It's so much fun.

So many people seemingly can't read or listen when Ziz saw his crucible passive tree maybe 2 minutes before he sold that item for a quill rain. Then again, the amount of people that die to reflect maps...
I rolled with RF Jugg this league and with the new masteries I was able to pull 640 life regen by level 30 with no regen gear on and 2400 dps.
I'm pretty sure the new "uncapped Fire Resistance Life Regen" Mastery will be nerfed.
Since they updated the ascendancy last league it has been stupid easy to turn on RF early with Juggernaut, that's not just the mastery at play. You can set and forget RF at like Lv 24 with no special gear apart from capping resists

A lot of builds got buffed tbh. Starting FB Trickster and getting to 25mil this league will be loads easier thanks to some of the buffs like the invert mastery. Which I think is a broken node

I been playing toxic rain only since i started a few years ago. I come and ho with this game but it always seems to be the funniest
Need clickheavy build or i get bored and loose focus = die on bosses
First skill passive bricked my item with 20% reduced damage. Kinda lame that can happen with the very first node

Happy you had smooth game, I had 10 hours of pure suffering bcz of server lags and worst layouts imaginable.

so i wasted 30+ min at start farming a blacksmith wetstone in act 1 because my vendor had a 3 link magic short bow with +1 bow gems and 8% local attack speed................ wildest league start moment of my life and i thought it was all a meme AND THNE MY FIRST CRUCIBLE PASSIVE WAS +1 BOW GEMS KEKW.......... that act 1 3link bow was +2 bow gems and 1.62 attack speed and i used a self cast toxic rain with faster attacks + efficacy until maps..................... it was an absurd bow that i never felt didnt do enough damage but laso it wasnt fast so i over leveled way too much to keep up my flask charges and no phasing was brutal hah
BUT NOW I FINALLY HAVE A NEW BOW IN MAPS AND THESE TREES ARE SPICY LETS GO!!!!! i dont expect much long term but good luck everyone! i might go quill rain even now once i get a 6L body for main skill and 4L bow for ballistas but.......... my new bow is a 5L shortbow with +1 socket gems and crafted 10% attack speed so +1 bow 5L with 1.70 attack speed because its crucible tree is 4% AS and frenzy on kill KEK. this would ACTUALY HAVE BEEN MINIMALLY BETTER than my 3L before BUT it has -1 max all charges on the wep tree and +2 MIN ALL CHARGES WHICH IS INTENSE! hahahahah soooooooo wild, literaly putting my 3L into this 5L was statisticly a 98.7% more damage mutliplyer on my toxic rain tool tip dot with the same attack rate hahahaha~~~ RIP MY MANA THO.......
the critical thing i think im going to do until i can truly invest in some proper long term red map style gear and essence crafting is replace skitters bots with discapline to help extreemly sustain EB without needed aggressive es on gear besides maybe sadist garb........... however i got an enduring mana flaks with % reduced mana cost which has legitimatly been able to self sustain itself and its hilarious hahaha so cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeers~ eb will be satisfying once the mana and damage are in order
last note that i think is wild is that i got ot maps without my 3rd lab............im having super rough sustain issues since life on hit is minimal but im pushnig to do my 3rd lab for that life flask pathfinder value i cant wait ot see how that feels to play cause it sounds absurdly satifying!!!! worst case i might even be able to use life tab over EB in an early 6L i buy (especially so on atleast my ballista!) and save room to keep skitterbots or maybe some other aura but cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeers
How did he get the quill rain? How come he sold his bow and got the unique?
It's a crucible node that can spawn on a bow. Makes it so if you sell it to a vendor, you get a unique short bow. At lower levels in the first couple of acts, the quill rain is like the only one I know of that can spawn from that.

Nope, it's available for everyone to get on the crucible tree, but I think you have to be a little bit lucky

crucible skill tree on the weapon, one of the nodes lets u trade it in for a unique short bow

i think it's his bow that have some crucible passive that when you vendor this weapon you can get random unique weapon or something like that.

Me doing the usual playing a build and not sure which version I want to go (LA deadeye or raider)
If you are planning to farm super dense maps (breach/legion/deli kinda thing) then deadeye will feel better on budget gear, but general mapping raider has so much more movespeed and it doesn't fall off between packs like tailwind does. if you get to HH/mageblood level of gearing it doesn't matter.

Why does crucible feel so difficult
I've noticed it feels like the mobs get a generic damage reduction in the later channeling stages, so I've just been leaving it a bit before the max and I've mostly been ok
@@rzrbgz no I mean I haven’t played poe in about a year and mobs hit way harder
@Organica They did a balance pass on the first few acts and bumped up the difficulty to shake up the racing meta, along with making early game decision a bit more weighty. I got used to it pretty quick but yeah, if you haven't played in a while it will seem tougher because it is, I think the difficulty evens out as you progress

Probably my worst league start, instantly jumped by a pack of elites from the crucible, hc death in the beginning of act 1 lol. Not a lot of info on the crucible device itself. Don't hold it all the way down folks, not in act 1.

This is why Diablo 4 changed their map design , having a overlay while streaming is painful to watch. PoE is already painful to watch anyways.

Worst league start ever, build great, making the campaign as much like Labs as possible. Painful. GGG really need to look at the campaign, theres a reason a lot of players don't make it to maps.

I've tried to like PoE...really gave it a chance. got to level 60 on act 6... and the stupid beacons... I was melting everything, but the stupid beacon crap. Deleted the character...
Making a second character and playing through made me realize how terrible the starting of PoE actually is. Which begs the question, why is it even there?
A game is meant to be fun, not tedious work that eventually returns some enjoyment....eventually...before adding more tedium. It just wasn't fun.
What do you mean by stupid beacon crap? and how do you level to 60 in a level 49 zone?
Sounds like you rage quit when a particular spot got difficult. Deleting the character, erasing all of your progress, but wondering why you have to start over lol.
I would've understood if you got to endgame, didn't like your build and found a different build but you quit and deleted your character at the first sign of adversity. The funny thing is, you just have to stand within the circles of the moving pillars to clear that part. Hopefully, you picked up the chest right by Nessa to actually touch the beacon, if not, you just tp to the waypoint from the last zone...
Honestly, it doesn't seem like it was POE, it was a lack of patience and understanding by you. Then you threw a temper tantrum here. If you want to quit, that's fine. Don't stress yourself out and move on to things you enjoy.
