Awesome video. What kind of setup would you recommend to run 13 x 1600w Asic Miners on 220v electric?
Would need 4 or 5 30 amp 240v breakers lol.
@@RabidMining Ok. got the breakers installed. Would we need to also have 4 or 5 outlets/receptacles? Or can we run all the miners off just a single outlet?
@@BlueBrainapp if using a PDU just 1 as long as the PDU supports the outlet 30 or 50amp then 1 plug and plug the PDU to the outlet then u can run everything threw the PDU up to the power limit.
@@RabidMining Excellent. Really appreciate the feedback! Thanks man. The highest current PDU's I've seen run 30A. Can you recommend a 50A PDU we can look at?

I'm still confused on the 220v to PDU. Does the PDU convert to 120v output for rigs?
No psus can run at 240v from the psu to the components it gets converted to power needed

Hi, can you let me know if I understand this correctly. The wall outlet is 240v but the plugs on PDU are 120v, correct? I'm assuming the PDU is using L1 or L2 to get 120v?
PDU is 240v as well most atx power supplies and server psu are rated for both 110v to 240v
@@RabidMining Got it, thanks! I just checked my PC power supplies and they are 110v to 240v like you said. Back in the day there was a flip switch 110v-240v on PC power supplies and I thought since the new power supplies don't have it they are only 110v.

Psu comes with a wall plug not a c14.
tripp lite metered pdu, 10 outlets (8 c13, 2 c19), 200-240v, c20/l6-20p adapter so this pdu can hold 7,200w 😂 im sorry I’m being a little slow and I appreciate the response

@rabidmining. Could build my own power meter with a 20amp 240 volt outlet plug. I dont have a 30amp breaker available.
that will work just calculate the proper power from a 20 amp.

subbed, i just had my lanlord re-convert these plugs in my basement to 240v, however they're all on a 20 amp breaker. all these trip lite pdus are 30 amp and idk what to do?
i have 4 plugs but they're on 2 20 amp breakers
ill have a look and see if I can find a 20 amp 240v PDU for you. Also you could run a 30 amp but make sure you are watching it with a meter so you dont go over but that option is a very last result lol.

Does each outlet on the pdu have its own independent power it can hold or do they all share a certain power capacity
The c13 are in banks of 4 at 8 Amps each bank the c19 are alone with 12 amp banks and the total PDU is rated at 30 Amps
What about the metered one you got listed in the description it says 3,800watt on Amazon I’m still a little confused because I’m building 3 mining rigs with 6 3080 so in total 18 gpu and thanks for the information and response time I appreciate it

Like the pdu has 10 plugs how much power can the pdu handle in power
PDU can handle a total of 7200w thats 30 amps on 240v
How does these work in AUS for an asic miner ive got 2 KD5'S at the moment but I plan on getting more in the future to expand them but currently just got the plugged into 15 amp connection need a diagram for this stuff

Does anybody know if I can have one rig with two server psu on different banks of a pdu? I have the tripplite
PDUMV32HV model and it has two banks at 9amps per bank already so I only have 3 amps left per bank which is not enough for an extra on one bank.
