Thanks @Rabin Mining. I came across spacegoats boxes and I'm in the list to have one delivered. This was really helpful and educating. I don't think in the next year I will be going up to 240v. I need more money and more card availability!

What I will add is make sure your panel can actually support the extra 30amps. Most houses are 100amp service and once you have a central air unit, a stove and a dryer hooked up you are already at a potential 72A. Add that 30A breaker running full tilt and you are at 102A not even considering other amperage pulls on the house. 200A panel upgrade is a smart idea if you are planning any 30A upgrades.

Not quite how that works, when sizing services you must consider the duty cycle and real usage of devices. So yes miners will be on 100% of time but your household appliances won’t be.

You have Federal Pioneer (Canada) and Federal Pacific Stab-lok breakers which are auto fail on home inspections. Those lost their UL rating due to not "breaking" when over current...70 to 80% fail rate. Replace the whole panel and breakers ASAP especially running mining stuff.

as an electrician this gives me nightmares lol. Wiring is just hanging. No wire nuts lol. double penetration on the outlets. Try landing the red wire into the 2 red wires in a wire nut that will split them in 2 ..same with the black wire.

If the inductor ring is only around one leg of the 240, how is the meter reading the 240 data? Seems like it would only be picking up 120. I ask because I like to have something like this to monitor my generator power usage while powering my house during grid outages. I use the 50 amp (240v) outlet to a generator connection on my house. My generator is 14.5 peak watts. Could I simply just put the inductor ring around my generator cord that has Green, white, red and black wires inside. Would that work?
