No, the Higgs boson is just the excitation in the Higgs field which is what imparts its force onto another field. In the case of the Higgs field it is what is known as a scaler field meaning it is everywhere and it imparts the force that gives basic mass to every particle, now this mass is tinny since most mass is generated by the interaction of matter with itself and the four forces.
In the big bang singularity matter spews out, while matter is collected in a black hole singularity. An important piece of Nima vision, hiding the secret of reality.
if mass and energy is conserved, then why is the amount of life (both as mass and energy) increasing? sure there is the locality argument ( . Life mass did not exist in the big bang, it is in a different form of energy and it has gained information.
There is no more energy than was created by the Big Bang, what is happening is matter is undergoing a phase transitions from the beginning of time. Life is just a a special case of an entropic influenced phase transition of matter which emerges self feedback loops properties that are complex enough to form biology, the lesser forms are just organic chem and than chemistry being even more basic in their interaction profile. Mind you this is all occurring the larger phase transition of the entire universe happening over the entire life of the universe being driven by entropy.
+Meta Tron FWIW, I believe it is neither true that the big bang "created" energy nor that there is no more energy now that there was in The Beginning. Energy is a conserved quantity in local physical interactions, however there is no inherent limit on the total energy in the universe. It seems that dark energy is not only causing the universe to expand at an exponential rate, but increasing the total energy of the universe given that dark energy appears inherent to every unit volume of space. Hence it is dark energy, not DNA, that is truly "self replicating"!
***** yeah thanks for proving you haven't studied physics and do not ke what your are talking about just bc there is a comological constant aka dark energy it doesn't not mean the total energy in the universe in increasing! The total energy remain exacltly the same from the moment of the Big Bang, learn some physics mate.... Cheers
+Meta Tron you're wrong. Dark energy is as best as we can understand a quantifiable energy inherent to the vacuum - some number of ergs per unit volume. It causes space to expand at an exponential rate, pushing galaxies apart and increasing the total volume of space. It doesn't dilute as space increases, hence the total energy of the universe increases.
+Tom Arabia +Tom Arabia sorry but your wrong, and clear you haven't studied physics either... The total energy of the universe does not increase, dark energy does not violate conservation of energy! Meaning that energy is not expected to be conserved in this particular case since the metric in not invariant under time translation. Dark energy is like a negative pressure in the universe, learn some physics before you go running around talking as if you understand anything about physics....
Great lecture and interesting topic
the higgs boson is the most regular combination of particles which gravity acts upon?

Don't forget that the Hogg's was discovered long ago
