@@MikeStuart-p7p thanks Mike!!! I’m trying to make this car as nice as possible for what it is, I guess is the best way to describe it. As always thanks for watching and commenting!!
@@JerryMoody-vu7ut you are awesome Jerry!! Yes it helps a lot!!! We really appreciate it!!! Everything I make on this channel goes straight to the cars!! Believe me!!!
Have you tried led light bulbs for your dash? They didn't have nice bright inexpensive ones in the early 2000s. She's really coming together. Oh yeah, and another thing, you just added 10k to the value with that signature.
@@DonCrookwashere I think the problem with the LED bulbs is the dimmer switch doesn’t work anymore. The LED bulbs are either on or off. As you turn the dimmer switch down once it gets low enough the bulbs just turn off. I think. lol!!! Thank you. I don’t know about 10k. That might be a stretch!
Nice job on the details Tack, i like the working shifter light, the new dash and new steering wheel, I hope the holes in the butterflies lean out your idle, Does the carb have "screw-in" slow speed idle jets? will you run an air/fuel gauge? looking foward to the carb results,
@@michaelmaher4328 thank you thank you!!!! I probably should get an air fuel gauge for this. Without the holes in the butterflies. I am not able to close the front butterflies enough to get off the main circuit. I’m hoping the other carb will solve this. But it needs work. Missing parts, kinda beat up. But it is a drop leg double pumper. I think I got at the swap meet for like $40 bucks. So it’s worth a try I think.
Steve your attention to detail is paying off good job Mike

@@tackettshohgood point. Even if you got dimmable bulbs, it'd cost an arm and a leg to buy them 😢
@@DonCrookwashere ya. In my experience. LEDs and dimmer switches (rheostats) don’t play well together.
@@tackettshoh I was looking at that. I've been out of the game too long.

Will you be doing testing for the upcoming duct tape drags?
@@michaelmaher4328 that’s the goal! I want to get this car down there but I’ve only got like 6 weeks to finish it up.
