Awesome job man I love watching your progress and its awesome to see the support you're getting! But then again you're always super informative, well done lad
Thank you! I appreciate you offering such a great product. It's built much better than the old Fram Sure Drain device. Looking forward to dumping the oil in 5k miles and this will make collecting an oil sample very easy, as well! I'll be following up with another video to review dumping the oil with ValvoMax. We also installed the ValvoMax on a VW Jetta and that video will be going live Friday (tomorrow).
@@AttackChicken73 We engineered the valve body to the widest possible diameter and make use of a custom wave spring to result in the fastest possible drain time! Most cars drain in 10 minutes or less.
"Shop Cat" is not supposed to be in the shop? How does he earn his keep?🤦🏼♂️ Oh the humanity! 😉 Great upload Pat. I'm ordering same not only for my Vette, but a few extras as well for close Vette friends. I'm sure we'll all enjoy having/using it if we ever get back on the road.😉 Blackstone Labs is definitely worthy of consideration. But, is their viscosity analysis make and model specific? Many thanks and Save the Wave.🙋🏼♂️
Thanks, Peter. I should refer to the cat as "Carpet Kitty" instead of "Shop Cat" in all honesty. She doesn't particularly like the cement floor but you know what they say about curiosity. 😂 I really like the quick drain products out there and this one is pure stainless steel so it is designed for the long haul. We also put one on Rebecca's new Jetta and will be uploading that soon. For Blackstone, you fill out the paper slip and let them know what viscosity oil you put in the car and they compare that number to the calculated viscosity that comes out of the car. That way, if you decide to run a different viscosity than recommended, the results will be correct for what you used. Make and model won't matter at all. Dillution affects the viscosity, and if my car will take a 0w20 oil, then a diluted 0w30 oil won't really hurt the car that much. But, if I was running a 0w20 oil, that would be a bigger concern. In my case, it was fuel dilution and it was minor, but it could be coolant diluting the oil if I had a head gasket leak, for example. Anything that gets in the oil that shouldn't be in there will be documented. On that paper slip, I also have to provide the type of engine, how many miles are on the engine and how many miles are on the oil, as well as if I added any oil between oil changes. All this is necessary to perform the comparisons between my oil change and others with the same oil, engine and mileage, on the far right column. They compensate for early oil changes and provide any commentary on findings. Besides fuel dilution, I had nothing to worry about. They did say my iron content was 2 parts higher than the average but we'll keep an eye on that for future oil change analyses. I'll be submitting a sample each time I change the oil.
Aha. Your explanation makes a little more sense to me now. Thank you. As to the Quick Drainplug, too bad they couldn't incorporation a magnetic feature to it. Or did I miss it?
Every car should come with one of these.

Thank you!
Thanks for the review, Pat! We look forward to seeing how the first oil change goes!

@@PatsGarageOnline That tube looks smaller than the FRAM ones. Will be interesting to see how long it takes to drain.

Great video Pat. 👍
Free oil from FCP???
How is it holding up?
I sold the car but the new owner said so far, so good.
Thank you for that next time I'll end up doing it my self 🤗
I was wondering, would it be best to use the oem washer, or the washer included with the drainer?
I used the washer that came with the drainer. I hadn't had any issues.

You were supposed to yell, "PITA PITA PITA PITA!" at the cat.
