Hi Paul, 😁 it’s not that I don’t like steelbooks (I do actually have about 10 😮) it’s just that I like uniformity and they unfortunately don’t conform. I do love a special edition and enjoy watching unboxings of these elaborate releases 👌 thoroughly enjoyed this Paul, take care mate👍😃👍

It’s just about the disc. Couldn’t give a shiny shoe on what the box looks like. I prefer just a normal 4k box rather than a big fat special edition one.
I got a few of the steelbooks and collectors editions but the best is the sons of anarchy blue ray set with a box with a risen disine of the sons of anarchy grim reapper.
As long as I get good special features and good picture and sound on my Blu rays and 4Ks I’m good! Slip covers are a waste if they are identical to the box to me (sorry pauly 😂!)
Nice stuff you've got Pauly. A couple of points. 1. Did you wait for those collectors stuff to come out? Or did you double or triple dip. 2. You can only see the spines when the steelbooks are on the shelves. You ain't getting your monies worth.
I also love Keith of Euphoria Pictures !!!!! Great , great video Pauly !!! I love good packaging , but I would never buy a movie only for the packaging, I have to enjoy the movie, otherwise....
Whilst I do agree totally with you that its your choice to collect these extravagant editions sadly now its these editions and steelbooks which is driving the prices up and up. Space and the disc content is more important to me nowadays but unfortunately some of the big studios now put little effort into the transfers and discs to put out these limited steelbooks and editions which is great its still keeping physical media going but upwards of £45+ for one film is just a joke for most people. Yes if you can afford it great but if you just want the movie in the best quality you either have to wait longer for a standard release or sometimes never get one, which is beginning to happen more often now as studios are pushing the more expensive items. As with your other video on media, it is going to disappear over time especially if we continue down this expensive and niche road and only help to push more people to digital and streaming.

I like to be able to feed my family so the blu ray disk is more than enough for me not that i wouldn't mind some specials.
