Great video. Glad you got to see them this year. Let's hope they nest as successfully as last year. Don't put yourself down Lisa, you put out some great work.
Just a shame the heat haze distorted everything. I’ve seen other photos from the same day and like me everyone else struggled too. 📸 gorgeous birds though.
Wow Lisa how beautiful, I've never seen birds like these before, I think this warmer weather is having a tropical effect on this country, as we have parrots in our local park, and a lady up the road is growing a banana plant outdoors, I hope your water hasn't been affected by this burst that I have been reading about on the Internet, as it just said the Broads area, xxx
Suzanne, hello 👋🏻, lovely to hear from you. Hope you are ok. Luckily I was outside of the no water zone and unaffected. My water comes from the Ludham water tower. Growing a banana plant , now that sounds fun, I may have to investigate that. There are green parrots In Norwich, I’ve filmed them in the past. Have a lovely Sunday, take care xx
@@Newnamesameme2 hi Lisa, have'nt commented a lot lately but still enjoy, your vlogs, we had a bad time at the beginning of the year, my son had sepsis all over Christmas, from a small cut on his foot, he had to have his right big toe amputated, quite poorly for a while but fully recovered and back at work now, so he dodged a bullet I think, he's a joiner by trade and has his own business, and luckily he's back up and running again, so someone up there is looking after him, so now I've cheered you up lol, just want to say your vlogs help to keep me sane lol! hope you and yours are OK too xxx
No apologies needed, regarding your filming Leasa, the pictures were wonderful... What amazes me is how birds, whether they're Bee-eaters, Cuckoos, Warblers or whatever, can find their way back to the same place year on year, how do they do that?... I hope more of the Bee-eater colony arrive in the next few days, because I understand that it's the whole group and not just the 'breeding pairs' that enable there to be a successful breeding season like last year at Trimmingham. I've been lucky enough to see bee-eaters in the South of France, but wouldn't it be brilliant, if they became a regular and more widespread summer visitor to our shores.
It would be absolutely wonderful if they became a regular visitor. As for how they find their way about? I’ve no idea but it’s incredibly clever. No satnav either 🤷🏻♀️
If you’ve enjoyed the Bee Eaters, then you may also like the Swallows close up at Blythburgh.

What fabulous looking birds ❤
Shame the heat haze spoils the filming though.
Lovely birds .
I’ve never seen anything like them before. Just a shame the heat haze affected my filming but at least I saw them. Thank you for watching
