it’s so cool cause Sharpay was such a role model for me when I was 8 and I dreamed about having a music career, then at 13/14 I started watching glee and I found that same inspiration in Rachel character.. now I’m studying opera singing in a Conservatory. I think both Ashley and Lea has done so much for young girls who looked up to them!!

I often find hilarious how people simply cannot differentiate the art from the artist. She may be difficult but she's an excellent performer. Tonal quality, emotive ability, enunciation. I particularly enjoyed the contrast between Lea's mature tone and Ashley poppy, almost childlike sound.

@@chicaarana1164 not all powerful singers have to sing powerful all the time you know. These music sessions with Ashley are meant to be chilled out and calm. Singing a powerful song doesn't work with the atmosphere of these videos. There are plenty of videos out there of Lea singing something hard hitting. Just go watch one of them. I'm sure singers don't always want to sing a belter every time.

Yes because I’ve seen this one video of Lea singing means she’s changed. Lea didn’t change, change meaning that she would’ve apologized off camera and stop claiming it didn’t happen basically. If she really wanted to do better she would’ve apologized a really long time ago.
@@bored3847 she did apologize off-camera. she reached out to amber riley, samantha ware, and many others personally to apologize. also she said this is a big wake up call for her and who knows, maybe she didn't understand the gravity of her words and actions before getting called out, so that's why she never apologized until a few months ago.

Right! She still sounded amazing, but I can tell she wanted to belt. She kept singing progressively louder, but she had to tone it down for Ashley.
I feel like it might have just been a creative choice. Not every song needs someone belting broadway style. Amost every time this song is performed shows the artists softer side where they are expressing the emotion. If anything, singing it like this shows that Lea has the control in her voice to choose to do this style.
