Thanks Kathy, me too 😅 especially since I hadn't really done order like this one and the Ecuagenera one for a good couple of years 😬😅🌿💚 yeah i am quite pleased with them love a good unusual plant
I’m a sad 52 year old male who loves unboxing videos! 😂 lovely plants, I’ve bought quite a few plants from grow tropicals, all were in great condition and very well packaged. My last was a philodendron 69686, in January, arrived looking great but has slowly been losing leaves, which I only found out after receiving the plant, that they take very badly to shipping, so not grow tropicals fault at all. The spruceanum appears to be the larger one on offer if you look at the website. Hope they all settle in fine 😊
After lots of aroid im in too variegated succulent and obsses with jewel orchids 1 of my bdroom is becoming my relaxing / plant room my 12 yr old he is non verbal autistic he is on his ipad and lately he be going to the plant room and laid down on the rug and he be hours in there i guess that his favorite spot ☺️💚💚
Sorry my bad english in advance, it is not my first language. 😅 The white outer packing material looks extremly similar too the 'felt' you put under floors when you install those floorbords you just 'klick' together. It is chockabsorbant, has insulating qualitys and is cheap and sturdy. It is in my oppinion a smart choice of packing material at a low cost! :D
I do love growtropicals, but it's worth checking for a plug mesh inside the rootball strangling their root growth. I've had that a few times from them x
Nice haul💚 I love the Thaumatophyllum 💚 mines in too much of chunky soil dries out to fast. The Anthurium is gorgeous an I have a Jacklyn about the same size. Enjoy all your new plant babies💚💚💚
Hey Sherry, awww yeah was so happy to finally get my hands on the Thaumatophyllum 🤩🤩🤩 ohhh Good tip on how quickly it can dry out. Thanks I am sure they will bring me loads of joy 💚🌿
Hey Just another face in the crowd 👋👋👋 This is the second one after killing the first fast. I will keep fingers crossed for both yours and mine to pull through 🤞🤞🤞🤞💚🌿
@@Houseplantygoodness 🤞🤞my first one was doing well - until it wasn’t and second one rotted in two weeks flat 🤦♂️.. leca is the only way I can keep alocasia alive, with the exception of my Amazonica, that’s been in soil for years
I just got a Goldieii also!!!!They are so cool when mature how the leaves create a ring. Hope to see it in an update video. Nice selection of plants 🪴. Very healthy looking.
Hey Debra, awww that is awesome, I think it is a firm favourite with many people in the comments and yeah so cool when the leaves get the ring of leaves 😅 Most definitely will be doing an update video for sure 💚🌿
I want a Thaumatophyllum spruceanum so bad, but sadly the one i got from someone local had rotten roots and 2 types of pests, it was impossible to save, great plant i am jelous XD. Have you thought about getting into Orchids, Bromeliaceae or Tillandsia at all? Your conservatory would be ideal with its higher humidity and they take much less space than many of your aroids, truly fascinating plants as well. Anway thanks for sharing.
Hey Daniel 👋👋👋👋 I have wanted one for so long so I can only imagine the heartbreak when that happened. Hopefully you will find one again soon if you want to try again 💚 Yeah I have a few orchids and the collection is growing steadily. Bromeliads I am lacking entirely but do want to try a few more and I had a few Tillandsia, but definitely want to get a few more. 😊💚🌿
I have done one order and it was so well packed and I did pay the extra for the heat pack there was an option I got a philodendron billietiae which was bigger than i expected. But I had silver plastic stuff as well as the heat pack it waa early Feb so warm then now hehe I love the site and the selection and I'm sure the event panel thing was how I discovered your chanel too hehe Hope they all do well Have fun
I have Schismatoglottis too and i love this plant! Arrived just with two big leaves after 5 days on transport in temp. around 3-5, edges - cold damage even with hitpack. Don't know how, but he survived, took him 6 weeks to gaine back power. And soon after he gave me 2 new leaves :) So on the end of growing season i think i can expect bushy plant :) PS. My is little bit different, has in the center silver stripe and second stripe going around close by the edges but is not so "fat" as your example. Good luck with your new babys ;)
Hey Memo 👋 👋 👋 ! Nice haul, good to see that’s you are trying some of the lesser known plants! How’s your imports from Ecuagenera? My El Choco Red is getting much better it’s pushing a 3rd leaf. And my pedatum is finally getting its first leaf under my care after 6 month of producing only roots.
Hey North Liu 👋👋👋👋 yeah was a good bunch of plants and they are doing well so far 😊 Its like you are in my head with the Ecuagenera update. I actually filmed an update video yesterday, so keep an eye out it should be live in a couple of weeks as I am a week ahead with videos at the moment. 😊 ohhhhhh check you out with the El Choco doing better I am so glad 🙌🙌🙌🙌 yeah the Pedatum can take its time to establish but when it does, watch out, it goes fast 💚🌿
I recently got a Goeldii as well! 🥰 (yeah yeah I know, they now are Thaumatophyllum, to me it's still Philo 😜) Really love that Schismatoglottis!! Have a few on my wishlist too, but don't have the room 😔 will be for the future home in a year or 2 😅
Hey Saskia, yeah I know that feeling well, I was like that before I bought and moved into this house, saying I will get it then, only to realise buying a house the first couple of years there are a lot of costs involved, so not much money left for plants, but now things are getting easier so I can add for sure. I know so many people who still love to call this the Goeldii, and it is ok it is not easy to change the name of a plants after so many years of it being known as something else. 😊💚🌿
@@Houseplantygoodness I know about the costs, but hey a girl can dream 🤣 even a bigger dream; moving from Belgium to Southern France and opening a plant nursery/shop 🫣 go big or go home right? 😎🙈
I really need your advice please Memo. I'm in the UK and I've bought some large plants on the coir moss poles (monstera cobra, cebu blue and epipremnum pinnatum albo) but they're in a really water retentive soil from the grower. Do you have any advice on how to to change the soil to a more free draining mix as I'm worried I'll kill them 😢 Thanks so much x
Hi. As far as I know your new Anthurium is an hybrid of dubious origin and should be labeled as Anthurium "Arrow", and not a wild species with a binomial name. But I'm not sure about this, if someone have any documentation about this variety i'm interested.
Ohhh interesting, yeah since getting it someone mentioned it as arrow, but never realised it might not be a wild species, very interesting, I would want to know too 😊 🤔💚🌿
I was thinking to take an order from grow tropicals however i live in Italy so i'm a bit worried about temperatures and conditions of the shipped plants. Is there anyone from EU that can give me any informations or advices before i order from them?
Very nice plants :-) Alocasia Jacklyn suprised me - looks pretty good after the shipment. I would be very interested in Alocasia Jacklyn´s review once you have her a year or longer because I wonder if it´s one of the more difficult alocasias or the easier type 😀
Hey SparkleInMoonlight 👋👋👋👋👋 yeah I know I was shocked too, it has been just over a week since filming and so far so good with the Jackly, but I have been burnt with my first one so I will be keeping a close eye on it. I have heard mentions from many people that it can be more challenging. so I will most definitely be doing a review in a year if it is still here 😅😅😅😅💚🌿
It's funny, I like watching Unboxings but when I order plants online myself I end up disappointed I found out it brings me more joy to drive to the store and chose the plants I want.
Hey AcrylDame, I fully get you on this one, nothing can beat going to a plant store and picking them up yourself 😊 Sadly we only had a couple of small businesses (plant stores) that had the kind of plants I like around here and they have both closed down 😔 so for me these days online are my only options. If you are based in the UK I can suggest a couple of good online plant stores is you ever wanted to try. Grow Tropicals, where I got this order from generally does amazing when delivering plants. 💚🌿
What a cool haul….😮 Natalie
Awww thanks Natalie 🌿💚
Great choice of plants👍 enjoy
I did enjoy .because we see plants we li!e and don't no there name thanks for the great vjco
your sweater is great!
😍. I brought a Jacklin and placed in a self watering pot on my wall , it's seems to be doing ok.🙏
Ohhh that is a good idea for the self watering, I might try that after mine has had a chance to acclimate 😊💚🌿
Yessss!!!!
Awww glad you enjoyed 😊 💚 🌿
Wow! I love the plants! I want “box 2of3” so much. Thanks so much for sharing.
Hey Carol, yeah Box 2 was completely amazing such cool plants for sure 😍💚🌿
@@Houseplantygoodness I’m not sure if Grow Tropicals is in the USA, but I’m going to check it out.
I have a Drimiopsis maculata. Great easy plant. Enjoy. Mine throws a variegated leaf occasionally.
Hey Vicky, that is awesome, good to know it is an easy plant and even cooler if it occasionally pops out a variegated leaf 😁💚🌿
Do love an unboxing😁.

You really picked some interesting plants. Look forward to updates
Can't wait to see how you get on with the Jacklyn, I've been adoring them from afar thinking I'll probably kill it if I bought one.
Love that Schismattaglotis however it's spelled
Hey GypsyLee333 I do too, so glad I picked one up, looks even better in real life 😍💚🌿

I’m not an orchid person, but the one you got is beautiful.
Awww thank you Patti, it is so different from what everyone thinks of as an Orchid, which just makes it so unique 💚🌿

I have had the pwp, pwk, pww and ppp for ages and they all grow the same although the wizards leaves are more round and slightly larger.

Just a random thought, but I think we need an artist to recreat the plants Vs zombies characters with house plants of today.
Yessssss that is such a good idea 👻🌱
I’ll bet the shops know when a UA-camr orders and they send baller plants 🪴
