Good help and thank you for the video. I have trouble with a CNCest 6040 machine using the ddsc3v1. Would you have the figures for x,y,z for a 6040 unit? This would be fantastic. Many thanks. Rich
Is there a way to fo this withought a test cut? Maybe using a Dial guage? Is there a way to say to machine move 10mm in axis then calculate new pulse from reading? I dont want to do a test cut yet because machine is still in construction.
how important is homing your machine? because i start my machine and probe my work pice i see zero on x, y and z registers the tool height and then when i start working my design is sometimes 4,5cm out of the work pice, i tested my g code on other machines and they work perfectly, what can i do to fix it?
I always do a homing when i start up my machine, Mainly because I have a fixed Z probe when i run my script it is done in G53 coordinate system take a look on this video. ua-cam.com/video/ja-vFUxI1Fc/v-deo.html
There is only one number that is finite that will work with any one configuration. You can't just calibrate. It's one specific number based on a mathematical formula.
Great video, I learn a lot from your videos.

Hello Sir, me again😁 what do you use to lubricate your linear rails?
Hello I use air pressure and a clean dry towel. oil will only collect dust. this works very well for me
@@weitlingD3P thank you
Sir,,how to use this method on cncjs.
Im use xprov5,, can i use mach3 as a controller,, because,,cncjs is suggested for xprov5 .
Hello I dont know cncjs. But you can use openbuild controle with the XPro V5 see link software.openbuilds.com/
hello sir, what about circles i tried to make a circle and my machine made an ellipse, what am i doing wrong?
You absolutely need to calibrate your stepper motors
@@weitlingD3P i did i made a simple G code of a rectangle and circle in it and the x and y axsis are precise to 0.01mm
@@drejegetahun9916 That is perfect :)
nice, but you should have included the gcode
