- Enjoy this ride on the scoot along the Montauk Branch from Speonk area to Babylon. Window was a bit dirty from bird invasions but looks good straight down the rail. You get a good idea of what this section of the Montauk Branch is like. We pass numerous trains enroute. I did not narrate so as to not distract the engineer.

Excellent ride though with updated info!
OMG that window is killing me.... windex.... Love the old Railroad Station turned into a restaurant, excellent.
Thanks for doing this. The double tracked non-electrified tracks is my favorite LIRR section, and this is the first time I've ever seen any cab ride/cab car RFW views of it going westbound. Very interesting.
Great video as always. I've also viewed your Oyster Bay to Jamaica video as well as many others of the LIRR. . Hoping your next video will be Port Jefferson to Huntington, or Hicksville or Jamaica. Thanks.
Thanks much for doing a cab view of this part of the Montauk branch! I especially enjoyed the coverage of passing through Center Moriches, and the other locations along the route. Glad the Speonk depot is still there, and used as a restaurant. Not many block signals east of Patchoque, but the position light signals in the double track section are really neat. I've enjoyed all your videos! - Verne Brummel, Madison,WI
Nice RFW ride. I've been on this line as far as Sayville many years ago.
Thanks Tim💚😀
Hey Tim how are you brother I love this one man give it a ten and you're a great video technicion in the videos you make seriously.
Robert
Is this a newly scheduled service? Btw it would be awesome if you did a video on the montauk beach mini weekend cannonball that originates at Southampton at 3:25.
Love ur videos
Good stuff, bird droppings included.
Can’t predict these things. One must try to be resourceful and work with whatever assets you have.
@@3985uprr Trust me, no criticism of your workmanship or diligence expressed or implied. You’re a pro.
@@tokugawa12able Thanks much
It’s such a lovely horn ain’t it? 🤣
Do you think they could electrify to Sayville? Or do you think the Siemens Charger’s acceleration would moot that? This seemed like quite the pokey ride.
Zooming out makes it look slower than it really is but he was doing 65 in places
Actually, kinda answered my own question. I didn’t realize the land i thought would be perfect for a train yard is sayville national wildlife refuge. Oh well.
Old comment but did that C3 have a rs2m? 😯
K13A I believe.
"bird invasions"? That's an odd description of bird excrement. Do tell, just how did those birds invade the glass? Quite impossible really! 🤣🤣🤣
It is a more dignified way of describing interactions with birds, either physically or anally. I have no physical evidence as to whether or not birds either crashed into the train or deficated on it.
OR, in the finest showbiz tradition, we can call them “aviary malfunctions.”
