When Wilbert Awdry wrote the Railway Series, I'll bet he named his made-up engines, "Thomas, Edward, and Douglas" after those two narrow gauge engines, "Douglas" and " Edward Thomas."
Hello there, This is fabulous! I am currently collecting together footage of the Talyllyn Railway as we are producing a series of DVDs to celebrate the Talyllyn 150th Anniversary this year and to raise money for the railway. It would be wonderful if you would be willing to allow us permission to use this film and include it in our archive as a nice representation of the railway as it is now. It would be fully credited to you. If you would be able to email me (Kes) on shop at Talyllyn dot co dot uk to let me know if this is something you would consider that would be wonderful. Thank You.
Welcome to the skarloey railway
0:45 It was a beautiful day on the Island of Sodor and Duncan was happily chuffing down the line.
A well made video with lovely scenery and great little chuffers.
Nice video with some great angles. I do like the panorama approach to Abergynolwyn

Actually, Edward was a name thought up at random, Thomas was chosen by his son, and I have no idea about Douglas.
Peter Sam's twin is right their Edward Thomas
Duncan and Peter Sam
Great video. Do u know where in Wales this is?
The railway terminates a Tywyn on the coast of middle Wales
Ok thanks. Ps please sub!
I quite like the Skarloey Railway red on Duncan/Douglas, but it looks so much better without the horrible plastic face they sometimes put on.
