    My day has long passed. At the time I was in uniform and people said thank you for your service I never gave much reflection.
    Now that I have children, the service and sacrifice of our brave men and women means everything to me.
    On this Easter, I want to wish all in uniform and their families, be it near or far, past and present, alive or deceased a Happy Easter.
    From the bottom of my heart, from my family to you and yours...
    Thank you for your service.
    May the good Lord bless and protect you all.

    Thank you Gung Ho for this and thank you enormously to our armed forces especially the 82nd who are my favorite division. Just need some advice from someone who knows the FT. Bragg area I will be journeying there in June and need to know where to stay where I can avoid staying in Fayetteville (Sic?) which is supposedly a very dangerous and scary place. I have never been to North Carolina plus this is my first big venture abroad from New Jersey. No need for laborious details just some information on what town that's safer and nicer is in close proximity. I owe this vacation not just to myself, but to you. Facing head on new challenges is what life is all about. Also I'd like to mention I'm working on a bunch of songs for our troops and our nation. We've gotta be strong. Be strong and don't ever give up.

      Thank you, buddy. My health is so bad I've had to postpone the trip to later also the timing of early June was explained to me to not be so good so hopefully summer vacation in July or August. Stay safe too.

    In time of war a jump would they take the time to check the door like that?
    With flak etc?

    • @scottywalker2605
      @scottywalker2605 5 років тому

      Yes. You need to know where you're landing.

    • @Emogeta
      @Emogeta 5 років тому

      @@scottywalker2605 It isn't really to check the landing area, more so to make sure the space beside the plane is clear to ensure paratroopers don't snag as they jump. No one likes a towed jumper.

    i know nothing about aerodynamics but if both doors are open how is it stable inside?

    • @tomuss2082
      @tomuss2082 2 роки тому

      A late response. The cabin is hot pressurized so when the doors open the is no change in preasure. Also the aircraft was designed with a baffle forward of the doors to reduce air turbulence.

    Wow! I would have loved to jumped a big ass sand drop zone like this. Doesn't compare to Sicily or Camp Blanding Florida. That is if I landed in the sand DZ. I sucked at Sicily and Camp Blanding which I ended up in the fucking trees.
