I love how people are like Man Jared is enjoying his time in the vtuber rabbit hole but it goes deeper than most realise. For example, Zentreya of V-Shojo has pointed Jared as one of her direct inspirations for drumming, Jared is also a known figure in the hololive community even in japanese where his covers of hololive songs get translated clips in japanese (he was even mentionned as an answer in a fan-made hololive personality quiz) and if you look at his recent post, him and Erika have VTuber models in the works. Let's not forget that Kiara actually watched his cover of her song Sparks and complimented him. So yeah, let that sink in XD
I wasn't aware that Zentraya had mentioned him, that's cool.
Let's just hope the community settles down. When he got "dragged into" the Vtuber boom years ago, the Western fans kinda went wild and caused a lot of trouble for both sides.

@@raifij6698 yes, I think I already posted it somewhere in this comment section but basically he covered a FBK song, then she reacted and as a form of praise she was translated to say "wow you should teach me" as in he's really good, but that was the basis form which some people started shipping him and FBK

@@sheepcommander_ I never said they werent. I said that no matter whatever they adapt in the song, tje song wasnt made by Calli. It was MikitoP. Also he sings the song with Kagamine Rin, hes not only the producer.

@@SethTwiright_ I still count cover songs. She's also translated it into English from Japanese - and puts a lot of effort into making sure it still sounds good while translated. I think that makes it very much her own version.

To this day, it's the best cover I've bopped to in Calli's channel. And hearing it in Jared's drums just makes it 100 times more awesome! xD

Don't get me wrong, love these videos but I kinda wish the originals composers would get some credit for some of the hololive covers. (I understand that 8bitdrummer can't just do research for ever single song he plays but yeah just saying)
