Chobe Game Lodge is the only permanent game lodge located within the Chobe National Park in Botswana. Guests can explore the Chobe River and the abundant wildlife and bird species of Chobe National Park. This Botswana safari lodge overlooks the Chobe River and Caprivi floodplains. The architecture is Moorish and graceful - high arches, barrel-vault ceilings and tiled floors creating an atmosphere of spaciousness and tranquility. Chobe Game Lodge can accommodate up to 94 people in total luxury and caters for children of all ages. All 47 rooms are decorated with original African carvings and paintings. Stays at Chobe Game Lodge is inclusive of accommodation, all meals, local brand beverages, complimentary mini bar in room, unlimited activities, park entrance fees and laundry service.
Facilities at Chobe Game Lodge include a well-stocked curio shop, a stylish bar with an outside terrace overlooking the Chobe River, and a cigar bar with a full sized billiard table. The boma (outdoor eating area) is situated on the banks of the Chobe River. Other facilities include a large swimming pool with a terrace, a riverside boma area where traditional dancers perform, a gym, massage room and a reference library with a lounge and terrace. There is an extensive riverside raised deck that stretches along the river -- the perfect spot for sundowners. Business needs are met by a fully equipped conference room. Meals are catered for at the terrace restaurant overlooking the Chobe River.
Chobe Game Lodge game drives are conducted in open sided 4x4 vehicles ensuring maximum visibility. Guests can also enjoy a romantic sunset cruise down the Chobe River. Cruises take place on small boats or aboard the Mosi-oa-Tunya and provide the opportunity to see spectacular wildlife and unforgettable African sunsets. Chobe Game Lodge also offers game viewing by boat on the Chobe River. These cruises are conducted in small, highly manoeuvrable boats which are piloted by your expert guide. The lodge also offers slide shows, star gazing and river walks.
