After an anxious 4 weeks (!!) of waiting, I finally get the message that my visa for Turkmenistan is approved! But, I am not sure when I have to enter Turkmenistan... So I don't want to take the risk and arrive too late at the border.
This means I have to ride 750 kilometers to Mashad in Iran, to pick up the visa and I have 1,5 day to cover that distance. Let's ride!

I am from Afghanistan/ khurasan and i wish one day we also say welcome to all tourists to our beautiful country.
I hope Afghanistan gets the governance its people deserve.
Afghanistan = East iran
I look forward to that!
@@atticuskilby515 what do you mean?where are you from?
Whenever world will see Afghanistan they will find an other world of kindness, Respect and honesty . Inshallah 💓
Your charm with the two ladies checking into the hotel was great. Love how you immediately connect with all these good people. You have a place in this world teaching there rest of us how to behave.
why? i find it sad to hear such a simple thing have to be teached? dont you know it already.
I am so impressed that Iran is not only beautiful but more importantly it’s very clean
And the people are so very friendly, helpful and polite.
🙏thank you❤
Outside of the other obvious good stuff that's what I took notice of right away. How little litter you see anywhere.
@@lavapix yes, it is beautifully clean. compare that to southern Africa which has litter almost everywhere you go. Shame on you, southern Africa!
Yes, there are cheetas in Iran. Asiatic cheetas once roamed throughout Central Asia and Middle East but today they are critically endangered and are only surviving in Iran. There may be as little as 80 left. So keep an eye out when you are riding on those desert roads.
9:00 That receptionist is so beautiful.
Outside Africa only Iran have cheetah. Asiatic cheetahs
*Asiatic Cheetah* : Am j joke to you?
The thing about cheetah crossings is... they cross very fast!
@Black Phantom its going extinct in Iran too. Very sad.
Saadly extinct in Pakistan too
@JarJarBinks I agree. India should work with Iran and help the cause.
I am truly impressed with Iran, it's friendly people, scenic vistas, and pretty good infrastructure. Enjoying your videos. Cheers!
Have to say, these vlogs, are fantastic! Having been in Saudi Arabia, Irag, Afghanistan, and Kyrgyzstan, like all of their peoples... The Iranian people, seem so genuinely gracious, and kind. if only governments would behave as their citizens... thank you for these videos.
You are like a golden ray of sunshine always smiling and bringing a smile onto other peoples faces.
1971 i have been in iran by motobike with a bmw 500.
Nice people their. 16 000km totaly.
God good luck
Fantastic news at last! Good job Noraly, you needn't apologise for 'boring footage'...because it's impossible for you to make boring videos! Your smile and zest for life is all we need to keep tuning in to your videos. Safe journey as always. Mitch
Iran is more scenic than I imagined. Good luck 😉
Iran is really beautiful and the people amazingly wonderful In South Africa not all places are nice and as for the people well it depends on what part you are There is nothing for free
The butterfly slayer! 😂😂
Well, Iran is really beautiful. ❤️🇮🇷❤️🇮🇷
People look at you because they are amazed by you. You are doing something pretty amazing.
Agree
Yeh, I didn’t know Iran has big cats, but they do!Asiatic Cheetahs, Persian Leopard, Caracals, and many more. Iranians are very king and exceedingly gracious people. I have found Muslims in general to be very kind and generous. I lived in Arabia for 3 years. They are amazing people. Great episode.
Iran (the great Persia) and the Iranians are the most friendly people anywhere in the world. Always ready to help. Islamic teachings and tradition of Persian culture.
Love Iran. God bless! Iran.
Very nice videos! I love all your series, watched 20 of them in one night! 😀❤
Iran has many animals, such as cheetahs, leopards, brown bear, wolves, ibex , buraq, qazals, foxes, buffalos ,hyena ,wild horses ,flamingos ,pelican ,camels and hundreds of different birds, its tiger and lion went extict only 50 years ago.
10:00 just look at the girls getting along like there are no borders.
I almost got the idea that they were flirting... or maybe they really were flirting :D
41, 33 and Nora was early 40s?
Iran is beautiful country
It is nice and beautiful country as it is land of Shias and not the extremists Sunnis.
You are strong woman itchy boots . I really impressed from your strength .
Hahahaha!!! Their looks while telling their ages were so Awesome and your reaction brought so much happiness on their face! "Basanti-the butterfly slayer" 🤣🤣
Amazing. Iran is really beautiful.
I am planning my ride via Iran to European countries in next couple of years.
@@yaseen2002 you will be very welcome in iran my friend
Its a lot of work to film/edit and publish videos. Thanks for doing so. I’ve been keeping track and enjoying the vids since the beginning!
You're such a big inspiration for so many people as you're riding solo on empty roads of Iran.
#Respect
Your videos are awesome! They are not boring at all. Even if it seems dull to you, it is great for us to see, as we will never get to ride the roads you are riding. We travel thru your eyes and would like to see longer videos. Again, a huge thank you for what you are doing.

Hi Noraly,
500kms in a day and u still look fresh and energetic to record UR amazing journey for us. Thats passion for riding.
The lady in the hotel asked u a question about Ur Final destination and ur reaction was classic "I don't know my final destination".
Take care Godspeed to both of you.
Love and Admiration from India.
A True fan.
Basanti The Butterfly Slayer is a very good name. All that goo brought back memories of the time when a very young version of me flew my bike to Europe. When I returned home, the Yamaha couldn't be taken off the pallet until it was cleared by an inspector from agriculture Canada. I offered to ket him wash it for me. He declined, but did give me the green light to unload it.
damm!!!! those your eyes... 🤩🤩 beautifull eyes you have.
i agree they are beautiful
Blue eyes
Blue eyes...baby's got blue eyes......lol
She's a 10 in Iran but only a 6 in USA. Ha ha, no, she's a 10 anywhere. The Iranian women are stunning too. David, a 8.
Thank you so much for your videos. They are making me see how friendly all people are. No matter where we live in the world we all want the same things. To be happy, friendly, and healthy, to provide for our family and help our friends.
Hi Noraly, your videos are never boring. They are enjoyable. 👍👍👍
Looks like Basanti has fully recovered. Well done on a long ride for the day. Stay safe.
Over time, your videography has improved, but you are still the same person! You have accomplished so much while traveling around the world. It’s fun to return to these early episodes! Stay safe and hope all is well.
😂 butterfly slayer omg you make me laugh what a great adventure and thank you for being you and sharing this all it’s like I get to see the world with you
What a beautiful country. The people are so kind and helpful. What a wonderful experience.
I have heard from quite a few people about the people of Iran and their good hearted actions towards "strangers and foreign people"
Congratulations 🎉 for Visa 🕺 last Saturday I started to watch your videos from 1st one and before this video come up I was really excited to see what happens next. I'm so attached to your videos that I thought my Visa away pending 😅 and one more thing Big fan of your smile. I told my girlfriend that Im in love with your smile 🤣🤣and after watching your videos she also Fall in Love with your smile 😂🕺 Best luck for next adventure. Take care of yourself and Basanti.
What a clean, beautiful and nice country !💚
@Itchy Boots Thank you so much for your awesome journey videos! You simply rock!
Actually, Persian leopard is kinda like the Iranian national symbol (You might've seen it on Iranian national soccer team jerseys), like how bald eagle is America's national bird. These leopards are native to the area you were passing through (around Sabzevar). Good luck with the future travels.
I was hunting for this answer in the comments. Thank you for explaining! ❤️
Fantastisch om jouw avontuur te volgen. Zelf rijd ik ruim 30 jaar motor en ben beetje jaloers. :-) Respect !!
Another good day of riding, and more friendly people met.
Way to go!
Really enjoy you pointing out on a map where you are going because one this is a traveling journey and also the names of cities do not mean much to most of us without having to look them up. Thank you!
There is no boring when we are seeing somewhere for the first time hun..Iran is beautiful ❤
Good to see you on the road again. Amazing journey. Im starting make preparation to cover borneo by this december. The journey from kota kinabalu, sabah to west kalimantan through kuching sarawak.
No! No problems! Your adventures never gets boring to watch! Just be careful! Love!
Your clutch held up. Yeah! With the amount of distance, you traveled and the back roads you took it is lucky that the clutch held up as long as it did. Anyway, you met some wonderful Iranian people. Because of a little trouble, you shared how nice the people are in Iran. The world sees. Good luck
All the best..From Oman .
Hey Noraly, yay...you have got the Visa approved!. You certainly did some miles on this video, and it looks like Basanti is going well. Hopefully you will have no problems actually getting hold of the Visa and the journey continues. 😁 Cheers, Steve
Noraly, It was a long wait for your Visa but we are all delighted you now have it. We are all looking forward to the next leg of your trip in Turkmenistan. Ride safely and have a great journey. Looking forward to your next video.
I love that you edit and post videos of your journey while you are traveling.
Butterfly Slayer... sounds tough. ⚔ 💪
Yes there’s tigers in Iran and along the Caspian sea, they are protected.
Anyone who gives these uploads a 'thumbs down' should be ashamed -and no doubt lazy and envious and lacking something . Noraly is intelligent sensitive and selfmotivated .This work is excellent . xx
Great news on Turkmenistan visa. I've been in plaster now for 3 weeks - you've crossed Oman and Iran! keep on keeping me entertained and giving me a window on the world!
Hope you will be out riding very soon!!
hi Noraly, you're bravery and courage to have a journey thru a motor bike in unfamiliar places alone is very remarkable and adorable .
The journey continues to Turkmenistan. Happy for you and to follow you along. Love from Malaysia
You only radiate positivism....you attract it with your great personality...and those beautiful EYES.
May the light guard you and be with you ...in all yo do.
Basanti the butterfly slayer ! That's good ! Cheers !
"Sorry if the footage is boring." all while driving in parts of the world that most of us will never see. :-) Really enjoying your journey!
i have been watching your videos from episode 1 until now. i notice that your smile, the way you look, and talk to people is very CONTAGIOUS!
What wonderful people the Iranian people are, how much warmth and love they show .. I wish Israel will have peace with Iran and I can visit there ... Iran at its best
And keep yourself on the road, I experience your adventure through you and enchanted ..
All the best From Israel :-)
No reason to apologize dear Noraly. We fully understand that you needed to press on!

long ride... without rain.... greenery everywhere in Iran.... Cheetah crossing sign boards pretty interesting to know wildlife in Iran
Royal Enfield should be jumping for joy every time you post a video. You are truly an ambassador for mankind right now. And your choice of the Royal Enfield Himalayan BS4 is selling more bikes than any advertising they could produce. God speed and safe travels from Tacoma Washington. I went to a Royal Enfield shop the other day and they are following your adventures.
One of the most famous wildlife of Iran is the critically endangered Asiatic cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus venaticus), which today survives only in Iran.
A long ride today Noraly with some lovely scenes and the odd wild life signs , hope you get your Visa tomorrow , the roads look quite good today, probably better than the UK.I am enjoying your videos just as much if not more than the Long Way Round , and that was Good.
look forward to next one, all very the Best
Just wanted to thank you for your videos Noraly. You have sparked a passion in me to travel.
I've traded in my Honda motorbike for a Royal Enfield Himalayan! Picked it up today.
Done about 60 miles on it and loved every minute. Going to get panniers installed at first service and then start heading out during the summer for longer rides in the UK at first and then who knows? :-)
Ride safe.
The video was awesome as usual ..nothing is boring bout it.
Being part of your journey so far....it needs a lot of courage....I do not know what all you have gone through to start this journey...good luck comrade....wish all the best
6:10 mark - The Asiatic cheetah is a critically endangered cheetah subspecies currently only surviving in Iran. Its range once spread from the Arabian Peninsula and the Near East to the Caspian region, Transcaucasus, Kyzylkum Desert and northern South Asia, but was extirpated in these regions during the 20th century. Get a notification and a quick plan is formed on the fly! Hope not much butterfly "goo" was on the rest of Basanti or you. Nice to notice the Cheetah crossing signs along your route.
It’s stunning how helpful and friendly the Iranian people are! I remember Anthony Bourdain saying as much in his video from Iran. Peace be with you Itchy Boots. I really love your videos

After watching the next videos from Turkmenistand I can totally understand this kind of reaction.
it is proving you have the guts for the trip. Well done. All of life is an adventure.
Congratulations on getting the Visa. At the time of this posting, you're probably in Turkmenistan already and having an excellent new experience. Have a great time and keep the shiny side up.
