- Nearly 200 Florida laws are set to take effect Monday, and some of them could have big impacts on you.
One major change increases the age at which a baby can be surrendered under the state’s “Safe Haven Law” from seven days to 30 days old.

Only 7 days is insane... I'm glad they are allowing 30days. If you are going to force women to carry out a pregnancy, give them a way out. Some people are really cannot care for a child. it's all about options. It's not ideal that the state refuse to provide the most reasonable option for women, but at least a forced pregnancy doesn't have to end in tragedy. Truthfully, it should be more than 30 days.
@kp, Noone is forcing a woman to have a baby, women can still have abortions you just may have to go to another state, people turned it into a form of birth control and it should have never been like that.
What a wonderful story of Life and Hope that this mother gave to her daughter when she dropped her off so that she could be taken care of! God Bless that precious mother for giving her a chance to live. I love to hear great stories like this.❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊
