This is a mod I've dreamed of for years. Resident Evil 4 is a great game with unique gameplay mechanics and it always deserved new levels to utilize full potential of how it plays and how it looks.
From what I've played for now it looks like the best possible realization of such project. The author is very talented and has excellent artistic taste. Levels are very detailed and made in the same style than the original game. This work is so professional - it looks like an official DLC for the game. - Ігри
I mean, create a whole new map, new locations, improve the environment, or technically made a new game using Resident evil 4 as a base, shows the big talent of the modders.

In the best of worlds there would be a hard QTE at that point. You press it - he jumps out of the car and you get an alternative first level.

What makes me laugh the most about this mod is that there is so much waiting time just for the first chapter, the user heart is the same as the creators of poppy play time one chapter every 50 thousand years For God's sake, get a team of developers and don't break the bank.

And it's a good thing you finally saw this mod. It's the best thing that happened with the game so far. And playing it will bring the same joy and awe you felt when playing Resident Evil 4 for the first time.
So is this the most up to date version?? I swear you’re finding a lot more items than some of the other playthroughs I’ve seen
It was at the time of recording this. There's 1.2 in the videos, and latest patch is 1.3.

Indeed, detailed level design and creative usage of gameplay mechaincs make it more interesting and challenging than original game.
The gameplay is good but the music is a little muddy, strangely I want to try the mod
Muddy music does a great job at creating "this shouldn't be happening but it's happening!" mood when Ganado attack. I noticed and appreciated it back in the day when playing 2007 port to pc from ps2.

Yes, a lot of inspiration, creativity and dedication. Everything looks so professional - like an official DLC. This is even more impressive considering that the game was never designed to be moddable. It has no official tools, forcing modders to rely on fan made ones, and some mechanics&scripts are hardcoded into the executable, and require hacking it to be used.

Only if it can run PC executables. Which doesn't seem likely, and might have poor performance if it somehow runs them.
