I was driving down the street and could see this yard from a half mile away. As I approached the property, I couldn’t even see the sidewalk and the grass was about 4 feet tall. I decided to stop and knock on the front door but no one answered. I walked over and talked to the neighbors and they wanted it taken care of, it was an eye sore and too many mosquitoes and ticks.

I was thinking the same thing! The neighbors must know that an elderly lady lives there,it would be so " neighborly" of them to get together and mow her lawn.I know we all have busy lives,but it doesn't take a lot of time to show kindness. We might be in the same situation some day ❤

I'm 70 years old, sold my home 2 years ago. The only thing I really miss is mowing. About the last 2 year in the house I was mowing 2 yards. You make me want to mow again. Thank you for your work and sharing with me.

Good job there son. You are so lucky to be able to do this with your father. Never leave inside always be there for him because he will always be there for you you are a good son. And I enjoy watching you and your dad doing all the good deeds that you are for these people you are very blessed.
What a great work and charity ethic you are instilling in your son. As kids we 3 children worked with our dad in a 2 acre corn field and and a large vegetable garden. We all grew up to have successful careers and to respect and love our parents. Great job.

So grateful you've chosen to "pay it forward". I know the neighbors appreciate the work you do. If you want to get some pointers about how others are handling the hard work (sidewalks, etc.) there are a couple of channels I watch. Top Notch lawn care does mostly free work. There's a couple of companies in Australia that do the same thing. They may help you get things done without going home sore! Seems like you always pick the hardest jobs...it will do your son good to see his dad working so hard. Keep him moving...who knows, maybe he'll have his own landscaping company some day! Keep up the good work, keep working hard, and keep being blessed!

On that sidewalk that is years of growth I mean years and when you started that yard it's looking a lot better.

Love the fact that you tidy the areas you’ve cut. We need you in our town!! When grass is mowed by the town after a complaint, they cut but leave the long grass laying on top which is just as much an eye sore!!

Once again you have blown my mind. Seeing what you and your children do, is an inspiration to others. I haven't had the time to get on here in about 2 weeks(as I mentioned, I go to my desktop to do it). I was pleasantly surprised when I did and saw that you "beautified" yet another unsightly looking home/yard. BTW my Hubby keeps our small yard and garden pretty immaculate while I tend to an herb and flower garden, despite 4/10's in a blistering hot shop!
