Some people care about pinch welds cause when you bend them, you can end up spider cracking the undercoating and water can seep in and start rusting the pinch welds and eventually the body. But I don't think AJ needs to worry about pinch welds rusting on this hoopty when the rear quarter is basically gone.

Did you ever change the fuel pump relay and main relay. Many cars have a pgmfi or main relay that does exactly what's going on and u have to cycle the key like that to get it to work again

The wiper switch has to be shorting to the ignition switch. That would explain the intermittent stalls when the wipers turn on/off

Ignition module sits in the steering colum behind the key is got bad contacts and that’s why it stalls out my 92 legact GT did the same. Cost me 1200 to figure out.

The only reason I don't care about that mangled pinch weld is because I can tell the rear strut towers are 1000% cheeched based on that quarter panel rust. I took my old car apart that was rusted like that and there were H U G E holes in the strut towers. I was surprised the struts didn't come through.
