Good game, Falcon. I got the "bad ending" few days ago (yes, after seeing your Let's Play, I bought this game and really enjoy it).
Looking forward for you hardcore run. I would suggest you try "Extrimist + New Life" if you run into death spiral and want to make the hardcore run easier.

We are all aware that the senses can be deceived, the eyes fooled. But how can we be sure our senses are not being deceived at any particular time, or even all the time? Might I just be a brain in a tank somewhere, tricked all my life into believing in the events of this world by some insane computer? And does my life gain or lose meaning based on my reaction to such solipsism?

I had the pleasure to study Descartes' meditations and always fascinated how he came to the conclusion of both the realization of there being a "God" and the aspect of the mind.
Anytime I see any scenario where our whole life can just be part of a simulation it brings me to Descartes Corgito Ergo Sum and to my answer, regardless of whether or not we are part of a simulation, our life gains meaning by discovering our situation, instead of wandering about our purpose in life.
CypherRCX Yeah, whether or not the world as we perceive it actually exists, it's still worth making the compromise of accepting it regardless of the fundamental impossibility of truly objective proof. Though I tend to agree with Degrasse-Tyson where God is concerned, Descartes had some excellent philosophical insights for a mathematician.

Maybe there is more chance for combo when the"nurses" are below some hp barriers and combo is also getting longer.

Excuse me a moment as i get real here, but DAYUM that is freaky and creepy. Putting someone through all that for data and then not even able to earn freedom in the end? WOW just WOW. This kind of stuff is actually possible which is the creepy part. Now that i got that out :D AWESOME game and ending Mr. Falcon. I enjoy it so much I certainly will be eager to view it in hardcore. But if your not up to it and rather play something else, I am also with that as well. Your awesome regardless and i will enjoy watching "ANY" game play of yours :) Faithful subscriber here haha. :D

Yeah it is a bit far fetched i agree as of now time. Although it can happen in future i mean look how far we came since Atari games and now virtual reality games? O.o it is just a bit worrisome with all the power hungry and psycho scientists, secret researches and things like that. It is what make me not doubt as much as i should :D

Another run would be super chell of you. Could you do another Darkest Dungeon run, there have been a few good updates since your last stuff, Sky Hill, Darkest Dungeon and Neo Scav have probably all been my fav Falcon LP's

Hahaha yes hardcore i do love it when the silenhill looking nurse spawns 3 floors in a row and you kill them all you have no food and 1 hunger left and walk in to a new room an E.motherfucking.T stands there and smiles..

+Yippee Ki Yay Mr Falcon Extremist + New Life is kinda broken it lets you get all your stats up to around 20 from the get go.(95% on all attack and enemies and huge damage)
Extremist + New Life was so boring that I died because I ran through 30 floors killing everything without looking once on my health, I press attack in the same moment I look on my 6 health and think shit:)
I beat hardcore with total mess + luck bastard, much more fun .
My first 2 tries I had insane bad dropluck, on all other plays I had great runs.(one time I found 3-4 medipacks and at least 5 large medkits in the first 35 floors)
Tips for such a playthrough, unless you want to try it on your own:

Be carefull always anticipate you miss your next attack and the enemy crits you twice (second time when you flee), always have a backup in case you lose your weapon, don't eat overripe food, stay toped of unless you are low on items and have to protect a weapon or something, use good food/medkits first, but try to use them to their full effect, craft food/medkits only when you use them (except fish/meat as coocking them doesnt lower your overall amount of item), with weapons you cant use yet it depends if you craft them you might lose everything due to rng if you craft them, but if you don't there is a higher chance to lose a single ingredient.
Go for glaive, its cheap to build , doesnt require special items and has greatest damage without needing unreachable stats; good weapons along the way are sawsword or the weapon build with crowbar(khopesh I think) they can also be upgraded to good last tier weapons(they are good untill you reach the stats for glaive after that glaive is a bit better and alot cheaper)

+SilentPsychopath It's hard to say since I am under the impression no ending is good in this game. The one I did off camera was just the walk out one and well.. that was brutal too. If I try the hardcore run, I might aim for that one on camera.

Nes ooh sounds like someone had a good time. in early sept for reasons I will not say something really bad happened so I didn't have internet for while so guess what I did for the next 24 days. I played Viva piñata offline, alittle bit of Cod black ops, tropico 5 and some mount and blade Oh and alittle of spore. xD
