Hi Claire! I am so happy that you and Emma will start 2nd channel! While I totally love both of your channels, I can’t wait to check out your joint channel😊
Hi Claire. I'm excited to see your channel with Emma. I like the way you bounce off each other and also your humour together! 😁🥰. I was watching some of your older videos and i she's a question on one of them but thought i would ask it again here incase you don't see the question. You talked about using fish tank water to water your plants. Can i assume this would only mean fresh water tank water and not tropical tank water because it has salt in it? I would like to use my discarded fish tank water but i thought i had better check. Thanks Claire. Xx 💕
As someone with a bioactive frog terrarium, I can HIGHLY recommend the experience!!! It’s so fascinating and easy too. And there are live plants involved and they love warmth and high humidity! I recommend pacman or tomato frogs for a beginner. You can grow them over time! Lol
I have been watching both of your channels from Australia for quite a while. It's lovely to see your friendship grow into a whole new channel. So looking forward to watching that too. 🎉
OMG YESSSSS for the joined channel!!! I absolutely LOVE you both, I always have fun seeing video's of you 2 togheter, for sure following the joined channel!! Keep up the good work girls 😁 Much love from Belgium! ❤
A joint channel is a great idea! I love the content you both make (probably 80% of what I watch on UA-cam is you two) and you're even better together because you complement each other and have great chemistry!
i’ve had to pause on 7:06, to share my absolute joy of a joint channel. it feels like i’m sat right there with you in the videos let alone when you both do one. will this be soon? i’m very excited for this. gotta get back to watching the rest now ❤
My standleyana was unbelievably slow to root! After finally rooting and getting settled it still grew pretty slow. The trick was a pole! Now if I could only "convince" it to give me more variegation 😜
Clair I’m so glad you talked about your variegated monstera standlyana cutting being slow at rooting because Iv been trying to get mine to root for a couple months now Iv tried root hormone when I first cut it then I tried adding diluted liquid fertilizer in the prop water and all my other cuttings have rooted but this one 😭
I love your videos and your plants are gorgeous 💚 I learn so much from you both! I just put my Monstera Standleyana Albo on a moss pole and it loves it! It is growing at an incredible rate. I can't wait for my P. Silver Sword to grow huge leaves. It's still a baby 🪴💚
I LOVE the F. Alii! I'm trying to figure out how to propagate it! I have one that it one stem and I want it to be 2 or 3 stems. But it's a bit woody. Do you have any tips to propping a woody plant?
Did you realize that hastatum (silver sword) and subhastatum are more similar to monstera deliciosa and not other philodendrons, in terms of growing potential new leaves they always stick to the stem of the last leaf 💚
I have THREE albo standelyana cuttings......because I thought I was losing ALL of them, except the most recent and they weren't rooting 😂 and, suddenly, I have 3, growing, happy cuttings.......2 of the 3 I got 8 months ago?
You two should do a planty podcast together, perhaps an offset of the new channel, I think it would fill a gap in the podcast sphere as you both have so much to give in a long format setting!
First of all i wanted to say that i loooove both of your videos :) Secondly, have you thought about making a podcast together? I think many people would enjoy to kind of just listen to you and not having to watch your conversations on youtube. but either way, i’m totally looking forward to hearing the both you talking about - well - anything really xd
Regarding moss poles, arent you getting issues with moss growing white/grey mold on them, especially near the pot? My moss pole with deliciosa does it :( I keep spraying it with h2o2 and fungicide, it kills the mold, but next pole watering it comes back, so I'm watering it a week after it gets bone dry or once a month, cause I'm so tired of this white nastiness...
NOW you tell me about being careful with repotting begonia! I just moved a pokey lame begonia into a little pot because I frankly needed it’s bigger pot for something bigger, but downsizing-not great.
I am SO you with the snakes only my life long nemesis are spiders (and clowns but that's a whole different therapy session😏). I can't even use the emoji lol. If I see a picture or video or God help me a live (or dead) one I will have full on body shivers for DAYS!!! I just got a venus fly trap and I might get some more because I can't stand bugs and have thoroughly enjoyed watching it have some snacks.🤭 I definitely will NOT be getting a spider as a pet...nope!!
Claire you should check out hognosed snakes. I know a bunch of people who are afraid of snakes and they all agree it's the least scary looking snake. Their little pig noses are so cute!
If I didn't repot/chop when there was a new leaf emerging id never be able to do it on most of my plants except in winter, which isn't advised either 🤷🏼♀️ Did the joint channel ever happen? #algorithmcomment ❤
@@vixistixi I don't really water them. I get the soil moist and once moist I put it in a prop box or a zip lock back and just leave it alone for a few weeks. Sometimes if the soil starts to dry out I'll add a bit of water but if kept in a box or bag it doesn't really dry out. Forget about it for a few weeks and boom. Roots
The Olympics should include blindfolded watering that one doesn’t overfill a pot and you chose each others plant 😂 maybe a game of “this is your life” of plants you killed. Guess name from clues.
Watering obstacle course? 😂 You're given a watering can and have to water all the plants on the course, whilst avoiding tripping hazards, have to crawl under things, etc. And the goal is the water all the plants and not spill / get covered in water? 😅
I am planning to get a jumping spider to cure my fear of spiders 🥲 I have his little enclosure already I’m just still learning about them before I actually purchase him 🥹
If you fancy checking out me and Emma's new joint channel, we'll be posting videos + updates here: www.youtube.com/@ClaireAndEmmaUncut
💚
This new channel is going to be awesome!
Hi Claire! I am so happy that you and Emma will start 2nd channel! While I totally love both of your channels, I can’t wait to check out your joint channel😊
There's no video posted on that channel😢.
Both of you together are literally me 😂 the distracted ness and the being on task! Me all over, harder in one person 🤣🤣
It’s fitting that you ladies have a joint channel; you work/play well together. Wishing you all the success in your future endeavors!
Yay! Joint channel! 🎉 would be nice to re-enact how you guys met (tapping into Claire's background and then Emma's time in LA 😅)
When I tell you I have been looking forward to your new video, I have been dying! i am so happy it's a longer one!! :D
Two beautiful people with many beautiful trees.

Hi Christine! Thank you so much! Yes, I absolutely would not use salt water to water my plants - only water from fresh water fish 💚
Thank you Emma for keeping her on task. I loved this and looking forward to watching the new content.
any time 🫡
Yin Yang. Emma risk taker and remembers dates and Claire is cautious and detail oriented. Together they have super duo.
Yay I'm so happy the silver sword is finally rootes!!!! And the Hoya!!!! This double whammy made me so emotional! 💜🌿
Team MORE Claire and Emma!

Subscribed to channel #2! Love you both and so happy to see where this goes.
I look forward to the notification that you posted every day ❤
Idk of you guys are just friends or a couple either you ladies are fun to watch.
Fun video with u two as usual! I find swilling roots gets the moss off lots easier! Swill pick, swill pick etc lol xxx
i’ve had to pause on 7:06, to share my absolute joy of a joint channel. it feels like i’m sat right there with you in the videos let alone when you both do one. will this be soon? i’m very excited for this. gotta get back to watching the rest now ❤

A brilliant idea👌🏼I'd like to see you chat about your similarities and differences (maybe 1 or 2 of each). All the best with the joint channel 🙌🏻😻

More, more more videos of you guys together!! Emma what brought you to the UK? Love your videos 🪴💞🪴
Where did you get the plastic sheets for the D poles? loves all your vids ♥♥♥
You already have subscribers on the other channel. Can't wait to watch your first video.
I LOVE the F. Alii! I'm trying to figure out how to propagate it! I have one that it one stem and I want it to be 2 or 3 stems. But it's a bit woody. Do you have any tips to propping a woody plant?
Love the idea of a second channel for you both! Claire, hear me out... hognose snakes! Emma, try that! Super cute!
Did you realize that hastatum (silver sword) and subhastatum are more similar to monstera deliciosa and not other philodendrons, in terms of growing potential new leaves they always stick to the stem of the last leaf 💚

Luck you, I've been looking for a ficus alii in America for ages lol
You two should do a planty podcast together, perhaps an offset of the new channel, I think it would fill a gap in the podcast sphere as you both have so much to give in a long format setting!
Where do you get your plastic backing?
Blindfolded removing moss off a thin-rooted plant challenge. 🤣
First of all i wanted to say that i loooove both of your videos :)
Secondly, have you thought about making a podcast together? I think many people would enjoy to kind of just listen to you and not having to watch your conversations on youtube.
but either way, i’m totally looking forward to hearing the both you talking about - well - anything really xd

Just found each of your channels. I will be subscribing to the joint channel. Have a blessed day😊

My silver sword does have sheaths... is it weird? 🤔
Claire you should check out hognosed snakes. I know a bunch of people who are afraid of snakes and they all agree it's the least scary looking snake. Their little pig noses are so cute!
How about if u have ppl running thru obstacles holding a pot of dirt without spilling any dirt out of the pot :)
If I didn't repot/chop when there was a new leaf emerging id never be able to do it on most of my plants except in winter, which isn't advised either 🤷🏼♀️
Did the joint channel ever happen?
#algorithmcomment ❤
Love the two of you together. What's the name of the plastic Emma is using to make the pole.
its a3 acetate in 240 micron. I'd suggest using at least 240 micron for poles this size or bigger
@@GoodGrowing thanks
I prop all my hoya in soil. They they can just stay there for its life lol. no transplant shock risk
How do you water them when they have no roots? I’m going to try this but have no idea x
