TDI means Turbo Direct Injection. Previously there was the VW IDI engines that were pretty awesome but the US only got the 1.6L version while Canada got the 1.9L.
My oldest best friend is a car guy and had a VW wagon back in high school and swapped in a 5.0 motor from an old Mustang. That thing scooted.
That corvair on a s10 4.3l would have made for a lot easier engine swaps. I love the idea of using an s10
I wanted the 2.2 because they have always had a special place in my heart and they get great gas mileage. As far as swapping applications I think they would have been the same regardless.
I have yet to work on my car with anyone else but myself, it’s real frustrating being a car guy with no car friends to help you out or like invite you to any meets, going to a meet on my own is really tough, I just wish I had some car guy friends 😭😂
IDK why but that truck is sick. I would daily that and put that as my number 2. The number 1 for me would be that 1996 Nissan 180SX
I feel the same way about FD RX-7. I love those cars, I’m so glad they exist. I do not want one.
The fact that a ‘73 highboy made it to tie for second makes me happy
Thanks Bud!! That’s my truck and I’m just as happy!!
I love how they went like: this guy should befriend this guy and that other guy should befriending that other
The mail truck, 73 ford, 180sx, 84 volvo 245. Those belong on top. I would love to haver the 73 ford or the volvo. Easily my 2 tops picks.
That miata is terrifying
That Miata fucks! Love that build Adam and Exigent boys, killer job!
Every ride is cracked .... Cause they're the Donut fam 😂❤
The guy with the postal truck is amazing. His enthusiasm and happiness with his truck is epic
Cant believe they are still promoting Better Health after all the BS they've pulled. SMH. You guys are better than that and I'm only saying that cause I'm a fan.
What did they pull
@@nicolasmartin4233they gathered personal information, promised to keep it confidential and then sold it to a load of agencies. Google it.
The amount of production in this video is sick, visually it looks so glossy and colorful, almost like something you’d see on tv
Isn’t that becoming a problem though? UA-cam has lost its charm.
19:59 “I guess he dreamed about it for a year” 😭
I think he meant like his dream car being an off road 911
I don’t know if my comment ever actually got posted lol
But appreciate the love for my EP 🙏🏼 owned it for many years and I’m so proud of it. See you at Modest in July, Nolan!
You can't roast my 2013 Accord K24 because it's PERFECT!!! LOL 🙂
Heck yeah k24 life lol
The EP3 with the Regas looks so clean. The purple is peak.
I have a stupid 3 car garage, 86 hearse, 91 skyline, and 00 jdm forester. As you can tell, I like maintenance. Lol

Having the shifter on the dash is the CORRECT position. Any manual drivers out there, put two hands on your wheel at all times (as you should racing, or any other driving) and you'll quickly realise this is exactly where you want it.
Please see rally cars for reference
The fact that you would put that GORGEOUS lovingly modded Civic below a stock Lambo some rich dude just bought speaks a lot about your channel as a whole.
Absolutely 💯

Dude i got a nissan ad from nolan on this video i felt so happy to hear nolan in a nissan ad its insane especially being that it was randomly put onto a donut video as well what are the odds (ik how the algorithm works im just exaggerating due to my happiness that nolan is in the ad)
Nothing like getting a Nissan ad with Nolan’s voiceover on a donut video
Hearing that the CD009 was attached to a 500+ hrspr engine made me feel really good about my G35!
RIP Nolan at 18:19
I love hearing one car guy describe a car as fast and then the other one replies agreeing that it’s fast but uses a synonym for fast like “oh dude that thing’s probably fast” “yea that thing scoots” “oh yea it rolls” 😂

what did they do?
James as a friend of Trey that owns the 180sx you hit the nail on the head. I talk about that car all the time when hes not around lol. Hes an awesome friend with an awesome car

I'm 23 and I have always had bad adhd. My mind never stops thinking. I couldn't sleep growing up. And as a result into early adulthood and not sleeping well, I started to get bad anxiety. After I met my now girlfriend who smokes introduced me to it and my issues are completely gone. I smoke about 4-6 days a week and it helps me fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer. I do have a few days I don't smoke at night just I'm not dependent on it every night. It helped me! I approve
Earliest I've been to a Donut video
As a former mechanic I can safely say that Suzuki swift has at least another 200k miles before its next oil change, and the pinch welds’ll be fine, most of that rust can just be welded back in in 30 minutes
I had a 1.0 metro for 100k. Suzuki really earned my respect, that thing would get shifted once the valves started floating and went though more power shifts than it should have been able to survive. It did develop an oil leak from one the seals up top.
Any friend who trashed it, I challenged them to let me drive their cars like I did mine. Would you believe everyone said no?
Oh, I also accidentally shifted into 1st going for 3rd once at +40mph when the ABSOLUTE top of 1st was 25mph.

What a great episode guys. I would love to have my car featured in something like this. I have a 1969 vw Baja / ratrod/volksrod with a Chevy Ecotec from a Cavalier. It is a lot of fun, and I would drive it anywhere. Thanks for the videos, you guys are my inspiration. I am also in the middle of building a 1994 Nissan 300zx with an LS.
