@ Sanjay sir Please answer me as I'm stuck on one doubt. So when we create the master or lookup relationship with an object then can we choose which field from the master can we map the relationship to? e.g. If we want 2 lookup fields in student from class one for class name and one for class duration. is it possible? I don't see any option for that ?so is it always just mapped to record name of the master object?

40 rollup fields we can create if i am wrong please correct me
Sir, we won't be able to see the option to convert the master relationship to lookup until we completely delete all the rollup summary fields from the parent objects completely means from the deleted fields as well. Just posting this as someone asked this query during Question Answer session.
Yes we won't see that option to change field type until we delete the roll-up summary fields from the recycle bin as well
@Sanjay, Sir, hope you're doing well. I'm following on your exercise but cannot see the Change Field Type option and I've already erased the Total Students Relationship, please help

There are two objects which have master-detail relationship (in our case Class and Student Objects). Both parent and child has status field whenever all
the records of child field has status "complete" (say for course completion) only then Parent status can be updated to "complete". How to achieve this?

This can be done through either flow or trigger.
hello sir i got a problem !
if i have to convert the lookup to master its easy but when came to change the master to lookup so we need to delete the existing roll up summary so i removed the student roll-up so i can change that master to lookup but now the class object in lookup relation ship i am unable create the roll up summary now .as per your given exercise sheet i am unable to create any roll-up summary on student object now.
brother ..rollup summary always create on parent object (here that is class).

I followed your instructions but I have Clas as Master detail in student and does not give me the option to change data type - why?
You might have created rollup summary fields so you need to delete them first, then only you can convert laster-detail to lookup
Hey Sanjay, I m trying to answer this question Number 8 from Day 5 ( Convert lookup field created on Instructor Object into master-detail field.) but I get this message:
( Cannot Create Master-Detail Relationship
You cannot create a new Master-Detail relationship on an existing custom object if records already exist. You must first create a Lookup relationship, populate the lookup field with data in all records, and then change the relationship type to Master-Detail.)
Would anyone help solve this issue?
first you have to delete all existing record then after u will be able to convert lookup to master
while converting master detail in to lookup,why we want to delete rollup summary field?

Because rollup cannot exist without MD so if you want to convert first we need to delete all rollups.

There is some spécialiste debate between the link account and contact. Some people says its lookup shop other says master détail. What is the official in this matter ?
It is a special relationship field which is designed by salesforce in different way.
@@SanjayGuptaTechSchool ok but in certificate test WE havent this option "special relationship" WE have to chose between master or lookup
In this case we choose lookup coz we can create contact without account
In Day 5,
12. Apply Lookup Filter on Student Lookup Field, what does it mean?
In lookup field there is an option to apply filter so use that.

It will be decided by the architect of the project as per the client requirements

Create two rollup
1. Sum
2. Count
Now create a formula field and use above rollup summary fields and divide them to calculate average.

How many Accounts can be associated to single Contact
Note: Account and Contact are standard objects and everything is also standard?
When we have lookup relationship between parent and child, we can have many child records associated with parent, and here we can have only one parent record as a reference at a time for a record.
