Hello Mr. Gupta, for the exercises of Day 6, Task 5 where we need to add Activity and Chatter component to a new Student Record Page, Problem is I am not able to see those in the standard components list on the left. For now I just added Actions & Recommendations component. Please can you show us how Task 5 needs to be completed. Thanks a lot for your efforts in guiding us.
Task 5 is "Create a Record Page for Student Object and place Activity and Chatter Components on it and activate for SGTS app only.
Sure we have to enable one setting to do this. I will demo it in today’s session.

Hi Sanjay , Even on Page layouts you can manage the Related tab and Activity Tab. You can add new components like notes or Survey under related tab. But the added advantage with lightning record page is I think you can add far more components than the standards available in page layout and control the visibility per component instead of whole page. Please correct me If i'm wrong as I'm new learner on your channel. Also there is Lightning Record Pages option under each object in object manager.is it same as record page from lightning app builder?
Sir, only the chatter feed can be added to the App page. The rest others are not available only. I guess maybe because we have already added them on Home Page. Not sure why. Hope you have noticed this.
Actually few components are page specific.

Sir,I am doing day 6 exercise, I have created Home page and added all the components in it i.e: Assistant, Key deals, todays tasks,todays events but Why I am not able to add these all components in App Page? They are not present in components options there! and not able to add 'activity' and 'chatter' in record page!!Why so sir?

Hey Sanjay, I m trying to answer this question Number 8 from Day 5 Exercise ( Convert lookup field created on Instructor Object into master-detail field.) but I get this message:
( Cannot Create Master-Detail Relationship
You cannot create a new Master-Detail relationship on an existing custom object if records already exist. You must first create a Lookup relationship, populate the lookup field with data in all records, and then change the relationship type to Master-Detail.)
Would anyone help solve this issue?
For this you need to populate data into lookup field then try to convert. I showed this into video as well.

Home page is generic and record page is specific to particular object
Hi, Sir hopefully you are doing well.
I have some query regarding task that you given in day 7 and the task is that I have to create an App page and add following components as per the sheet i.e. Assistant, Key deals, Todays event, Todays task And Chatter feed But unfortunately these components are not available so what to do to complete that task. in video you just add random components and create an app page.

We have app page , record page by defoult but not home page so we created the home page

So you can just click on pencil icon just beside gear icon from where we add fields to list view.

Click on gear icon from where we select option to create new list view, there you will find rename option.

Hi Sir, Activity components are not available, i am able to add only chatter component only, i enabled activity in feed tracking as well
You need to check Allow activities checkbox by going to detail of object under object manager.
