Hellloooo my prettiest people!
This video is kind of a fail but i made it work in the end lol I’m still learning and mistakes are a part of the process.
Please watch the entire video to see how you can achieve these crystal clear, glass nails using makartt clear polygel and press ons/dual forms.
I use holographic hearts, dual forms/press ons, holographic glitter, yayoge clear builder gel and makartt clear polygel to create these clear, glass polygel nails.
This nail tutorial/video is especially for beginners because I am a beginner and this is a beginner friendly channel hunny, but it's also for anyone who just loves some good nail content!

How to watermarble with gel polish
@@tashacooper440 You can't. But you can watermarble with normal polish and then use gel top coat and cure. But the watermarbe should dry for atleast 4 hours before using the gel top coat.

You have to size up when you use full cover tips as dual forms so maybe that why you were struggling

You need to put you middle or pinkie finger on the finger your working on to guide you.. I just learned it from Suzy ( 30 yes professional..love her).. it is game changing! But new follower and love how you get to it! Looks beautiful!

I use the presson dual for method for a thin base and then add another drop on top after i cure it to build the apex. It still is less filing for me because you dont change the shape if that makes sense. Its esp. Nice for stilletos

Hey girl great hack I've seen it before it is key to size up on the tip and also the Builder gel was a great idea but I would have put a paper form under to keep the shape and stop the gel from oozing all over the place
Yesss not sizing up was def a mistake 😭 oooo using a form is a good idea! So use dual form on top and a nail form for underneath?
@@osoprecious sometimes I'll be filing too much and I narrow in the nail too much so I have to use a paper form and Builder gel to extend the Sidewall that I filed off

Come through Precious! I’ve transitioned to poly gels, and I can’t stop looking at my hands! I use the dual forms that I have pre-measured and numbered on my container!!! Now I grab and go with my dual forms!

When I want clear nails, I love to add a layer of builder gel on top. For some reason I love how shiny that they come out.

I can’t turn up the volume right know but people having issues with polygel here are some things I learned.. use alcohol on your brush instead of slip solution .. make a worm of poly gel on your form, pat the gel to the side edges the form using an alcohol soaked brush. So much easier to work with than slip gel. I just learned this along the way to make it as simple as possible . The first time I spent 4 hours on my polygel nails. I was like I have got to figure this sht out 😂🤣 hopefully I help someone

if you cure that layer the first one it will not sit flush you must encapsulate after you have made the first layer cured to your nail otherwise it will give that pre ledge from curing it before attaching

Builder gel does burn its bc it cures so fast. It could be fully cured within 5 sec depending on the temp of your lamp. Those nails are beautiful! Now I’ve got to get me some clear makartt! LoL 💕

Use base coat on your brush for slip..you will not go back

One tip you could do is if you size up on the nail instead of using the normal size because when your cure the nail with the basecoat under the lamp it shrinks so next time use a bigger size and I’m sure it’ll work better for you 💕

Sis this video was a whole mess lol you were curing that shit onto your skin around your nail bed 😂😂😂 I said no wonder her finger is on fire. Next time do a gel slip layer, add your encapsulation bulk then let the gel level itself by holding your finger upside down, it is so easy, you were doing way too much 😂 I laughed and cried through this whole video

I thought I was the only one who this kept happening to, the sides of the nails showing when encapsulating. I recently did the fruit jelly nails, and well.... I had that happen to me where the side of my nails were showing.... I was so upset.... I appreciate this honesty in your video here, thank you so much!

Mannnnn I see now that my encapsulated nails I done last night I done wrong! Lol I didn't cure them and then add the gel I just put the glitter in and cured it all together 🤦🏻♀️ oh well next time I will do better lol you're set turned out beautiful!! I love it! 😍 I learned a little too that helped me with getting an apex with the gel. When you put in on hold your hand upside down for a min and let gravity pull it up a little. It helps me a lot.

Nail teck here next time try less polygel in the beginning or even a thin layer of base gel then add ur stuff u want to encapsulate. Then add ur pollygel. If there is to much polygel the tip/dual forms will not reach side to side. Love the design.

Ive tried using press ons for nail forms n its really hard to get the press on off because they're really not supposed to come off. But when u choose the correct size tip i was told ur supoosed to choose a tip 1 size larger or a form size large enough to cover the entire nail bed while ensuring there is a gap between the form and the nail bed where the product will go. Another note i recognize those tips from a gelx kit we bought because my daughter pays to get these on at a salon called gelx and she loves them . The only difference was they leave the tip on..
Gel x is definitely a great option that’s less wear and tear on the nails!

I think a tip that could help you for next time is try using a press on nail that is a little bit bigger than your actual nail. It might help with the nail curve. Other than that I loved your video!!

Lol yes of course, doing the dominant hand is always a pain. You’re basically trying to create polygel press ons right? You can get a magnetic stand for press ons, full cover tips, and some tacking putty then create whatever designs you want on top of the tips!

I’m glad I found this video. I didn’t know you weren’t supposed to cure the base coat. Now I know why my nails kept popping off before I could get it under the lamp.
