I’m working on your “Blooming Brioche” pattern, and these tips make it awesome… it was already awesome because it’s a new pattern each row! I’m never getting bored. I am going to try this pattern out as a circle in the round (double it) for a wedding present. I think I can try and figure out how to do the WS knit decreases from the front, as in attempt to pull this off on a purl row. I’ll keep you posted!
Xandy, I have used your unwrapped decreases in a lot of patterns, for example, the Porcelain Cowl by Raina Kruus, and I think it greatly improved the overall look of the design. Thank you so much for making these videos. It would be helpful if you could re-title this to mention that it is Left Slanting.
Love this I am obsessed to the degree, I went to a yarn place in Brooklyn to attempt ONE PASS two color brioche. However, I find I have little confidence in the technique. It is my goal to learn one pass two color. I would pay if i could sit with you and learn your techniques. Would you ever in life consider doing brioche one pass??? i am sure with your skill in decreasing and increasing it would be a cake walk!!!
YES!!! I wish I could learn ALL THINGS BRIOCHE from you Xandy! You present things in a way that click for me. I’m currently obsessed with the One Pass technique. Unfortunately I’m a visual learner and haven’t discovered any videos for working techniques such as increasing and decreasing 😩
