    Finally found my savior. This should be the first lesson, however, everyone wants chords served up first. Thank you for this astute tutorial. I can finally become comfortable playing scales.

    Great tips again Jeff! I used to press down my fingers with way too much force. Since watching and hearing @kikoloureiroofficial talk about his minimal effort exercise I started to consciously work on this and pay attention to the amount of pressure I apply. This has been so helpful for changing chords and moving across the fretboard. Also it reduces tension in arm, shoulder and neck.

    Very useful advice and well explained. Especially the suggestion to investigate the sweet spot for pressure required. Obvious when I think about it but will be interested to investigate how much extra pressure s required closer to the nut
