    Hi this is Scooter Steve thank you very much for showing the video. I just purchase the 400 Bergman 2023 to days ago. It is an excellent quality. The only thing is the windshield is too short but since I watch your video I’m thinking about going and getting the same one so soon as I get it, I’ll turn your video back on so I can remember how to hook it all up, I used to have the 650 Berkman as I got older I am 67 years old. It was bothering my back and hard to push when you had to go backwards. It was a nice bike while it last I have other things on UA-cam about the Burgman at 6:50 but now I’m going to start posting The 400 Bergman soon as I get the rest of the accessories right now I am putting a hawk stereo system in next week. I will get the speakers to hook up and then I’m going to hook up a new truck so thanks for showing the videos. I appreciate it. You have helped me a lot, I just keep watching yours and then that’s how I learn things and then I can make my own channel to been on UA-cam for seven years❤

    Thanks for making this video. I've had my eye on this GIVI windscreen for my 2018 Burgman 400 for a few months now and it's great to hear your experience.

    Hi this is Scooter Steve I just bought the Birdman 2023 400 is excellent bike I’m watching your videos too you’re right I was driving I had too much wind blowing on me. It sounds more noisy so I’m gonna get the windshield in at your advertising on your UA-cam channel looks interesting so that should help me out. I just want to thank you for showing me their keep the good work up. This is a Scooter Steve are used to have the 650 but my back started hurting. It was so darn heavy weight too much. I used a lot of gas so I hope I can save on gas on this one and I like the way it’s built and it’s a lot louder than anything but I guess that’s the way it goes OK well you take care and thank you very much again.

    Excellent video. I'm thinking about buying a Burgman 400, so its good to be aware of a better windscreen option.

    Thanks for the video. I purchased a GIVI airflow windshield similar to the one you installed except it comes in two pieces. Works very well and installation was easy thanks to your video.

    Wow!! I had some difficulty to install that set of 4 encased nuts for the windscreen. Thanks for the idea to use soapy water!! And yes, it WORKS! ❤

    Nice. I never really minded the stock screen (I have a 2018 Burgman 400) because I like some free air conditioning and wear a helmet with a face shield. That being stated, I am 6'1" tall and do feel the buffeting at higher speeds and my neck gets tired on long trips after a day behind the short stock screen. I do a few multi-day rides each year up to 400 miles per day, so after seeing how easy it is to change out, I just ordered the GIVI Airflow. Thx for the videos!

      Awesome, I think you will like it. I ride mostly 2 up and I can tell you the passenger appreciates the bigger windscreen too. Otherwise you just kick the wind up over your head and right into them.

      @@gr8shotz00 my wife is 5’ 7”, so her head/helmet is well above mine on the Burgman, which she likes for visibility. Yes, she’ll probably like it much more than the stock screen! Ordered it today at 3 pm from Twisted Throttle and it’s already been shipped! Looking forward to a quick install.

      @@gr8shotz00 received and installed the Givi windscreen today. Super easy to take off. Even with soapy water, getting the rubber bushings back in place took some work ... but I finally won! Can hardly wait to take a ride and check it out. The Airflow’s lower screen is 2 inches taller than the stock screen. I set the adjustable top screen at 29.5” = 8.5” taller than stock.

    Thanks for these posts. I traded my 4 year old sportster for one of these brand new , the Harley was a money pit. This is so much more comfortable and practical here in London uk. I have ridden 200 miles so far and will get the same screen as you . Can you do a post how to adjust the suspension for a pillion I couldn’t work out how to do it. I must say the manual is awful . I have a 300 mile trip planned so want to get it serviced first , so far really glad I changed to the Burgman . Thanks from 🇬🇧

      I haven't messed with the suspension on my yet. I know the shock is under the scooter and I believe it has a settings ring for it. I also think there might be a wrench for the ring in the tool kit located under the seat. But I am not sure. I felt like the suspension was fine for me and my wife riding together. We have some pretty rough roads around here. Never bottomed out or anything.

    Tbh over $8000 and you have to replace the windscreen with a better one 🤨 for that money it should have an electric adjustable screen!

    • @gr8shotz00
      @gr8shotz00  4 роки тому +1

      I think its pretty common practice in the motorcycle area to replace windscreen, or other stock items right away. I studied enough to know that the windshield could be an issue for me. And it turns out it was. A lot of these windscreens on these bikes are for looks over function. I had an adjustable one on my BMW1200LT and it was nice. But I never changed the setting. I always kept it at full extension.

    • @kevinfrenyea3925
      @kevinfrenyea3925 4 роки тому

      You don't have to replace the windshield but that big one is so much better in the cold weather

      @@kevinfrenyea3925 It sure makes 2 up riding a lot better too. There is a Givi model that slides up and down as well. Mounts the same way. I opted for the all in one piece because on my bikes that had the movable screen. I never moved it. I always had it in the highest possible setting. However every rider has their preferences for comfort.

      @@gr8shotz00 Yes, my wife has preferred the GIVI airflow in the up position ... but then at 6'1" I look directly across the top edge, so when by myself I push it down just a bit.
