That doesn't look like any Fender headstock I've ever seen. Most likely a replacement neck (or perhaps a non-Fender instrument to begin with). This might actually be from the mid 80's, when Roy had stopped playing his Telecaster. The last few years of his life, he was playing a Les Paul and Telecaster copy with EMG pickups, made by, I think they were called Fritz Brothers. This guitar might also be a Fritz Bros. instrument.
Who is the drummer?anyone know? I wonder if He is still around,He must know a few stories about Roy. He could tell us a lot and if Roy really did kill his self.
That's not a strat or a tele neck. Any company can copy the tele body design but the neck headstock is protected and can't legally be copied. What i would like to know is , does anyone recognize those amps Roy's using?
@@JackRainfieldyea im sorry for making ya wait 10 months for a response to your thank you comment. If you go to 2:02 yoj can see a roadie bring out what looks like a dean markley combo amp because i think the roland is taking a shit or pissing roy off
I saw Link at the Bayou several times. Roy too!

@drumsleuth Drummer is Vincent Santoro
He is still around, he commented on a clip I uploaded =)

It's not a Fritz.
@AkisColdplay
strat neck, tele body, you can mix and match
Roy "channels" Link Wray....saw them both...would have been killer to see them sharing the same stage.; Roy may have lost Link...
that's a strat head on the tele, right?
