The real difference between them is how much boost they can hold, regluing and reboosting. The national can get rebooted many times, the provincial a few, and the normal 1 or 2 before the sponge gets unusable. Also the better versions can get much more heavily boosted.
Always my first choice TT Company. I do the bulk orders for my club in the UK and you give amazing discounts. This was a great video. I've always suspected that there was little difference in the Hurricane 3 variants and if there are probably only noticeable to pros. However I suspect Ma Long could beat me with his shoe let alone using the Commercial version of his FH rubber! As already mentioned, thank you for your honesty in not promoting the most expensive out of the rubbers tried.
Ive played with with 2 neo without booster. İt was very easy for me to play with it but everyone didnt like it who tried to play with my racket. İt was even better option than the tenergy 05 for me for that time (2013 2014). Now İ want to play again so Im pretty sure I will play the boosted version of hurricane 3 neo
I would be interested in a boosted/not boosted comparison. I personally would never boost, because it is against the rules (even though very many players do it), so I would like to know how good hurricane 3 neo rubbers are without boosting. Thanks for the unbiased and interesting reviews 🙂
i'll answer this for you. a boosted hurricane is way better than an unboosted one by a far margin. Unboosted ones tend to play like a brick but once boosted a commercial hurricane 3 can play 90% close to a tenergy hard
Hello! Thank you for the question and for watching us! We have put one layer of Haifu Sea Moon Booster on each rubber. Or is it the boosting procedure that interests you?
Is it difficult to change from a non-tacky , Ak47 blue spnge Palio TCT, to those tacky rubbers ? I hesitate as i heard the tacky are more sensitive to spin .... ?
great video! Can you also compare between hardnesses of hurricane? like the difference in performance between 39,40 and 41 degree hurricane with same layer of booster?
Help, I made an order from Chile for €300 on February 7 and it has not arrived, the tracking number says that the order has not left the country of origin since February 12, and I have sent multiple emails answered by Dmitriy and there is no solution .
it real funny, these rubbers are available in most countries but not available in india, i used the hurricane 3 and skyline 3 but nowdays only hurricane 3 neo is available which is not a good choice, hurricane 3 very hard is better than all the rubbers actually specially when topspining the ball

Great video, this is the top question, everyone has after playing a time, with hurricane neo 3. For myself, after testing Dignics 09c on both sides, i want to go back to hurricane neo 3 on Forehand. And now i get my anwser to this...thanks
The commercial version is a good compromise for everyone. Performance, Price and Durability very well. I don’t know the other version but I think is ideal for player advanced or pro . Very interesting the blade in this test , price, quality, performance very well
Switched from Rakza Z to H3 Neo Commercial, and it feels much harder. It is also not as easy to generate a lot of spin or speed as with Rakza Z, you need to put a lot of power to do it. But it's definitely an interesting rubber.
Thank you for your honest reviews. Based on your reviews, I purchased one Hurricane Neo 3 Rubber ( Commercial) and want to express my satisfaction. Subir Kumar Mohanty from Chennai, India
Thank you for the question. Max usually applies 2 layers of Haifu Sea Moon Booster on the DHS Hurricane 3 Neo Provincial 39'(blue sponge) he is currently using. According to him, the effect lasts approximately 1-1.5 month
I haven't played table tennis for 26 years. I purchased Hurrican 3 Nio for the forehand and Butterfly Tenargy 05 for the hand. After playing 5 times, I can't believe the Hurrican is such a slow. I even tried speed glue, but it was way too slow. I don't get why Hurrican 3 NIO is so famous? I personally do not recommend Hurrican, but we all have different opinions. Cheers.
@@frederikbeshara9857 They are slow, they need much power and also about 3 layers of Haifu booster to get really good. Booster may be not against the rules because it changing only the sponge is not against the rules, only the topsheet must be used as it is.
Why does DHS make a sponge that like "boosted" sponge without any boosting required? Is it too hard to make? I know it's better if boosted but the boosting only lasts for a few weeks
Hello! Thank you for the question! Actually all the "Neo" versions of Hurricane rubbers come preboosted. That is why all the rubbers we have tested com in the vacuum package. And yes, we have applied one layer of Haifu Sea Moon Booster on each rubber.
We have used the Haifu Sea Moon Booster when boosting those rubbers: www.tabletennis11.com/other_eng/haifu-sea-moon-booster-60ml www.tabletennis11.com/other_eng/haifu-sea-moon-booster-250ml We boost those rubbers by ourselves 24 hour before gluing the rubbers to blade.
This "national" version is not the real ones Ma Long/Chinese National Teams are actually using. Those are still commercial versions, just with blue sponge. The real national version of the hurricane 3 comes with a different package, it should be a simple white case. The rubbers that the players are using actually has their names on printed on the rubber's backside. I happen to have the wechat of the seller who can get the hands on these and bought one. It is simply the best rubber I've used. You've got to know that if the Chinese National Team is the best team in the world and has the best and most consistent players, their equipments no doubtly are better than others as table tennis is a sport that the equipments took a huge difference when it comes to play. Also it is not so expensive, it is just a little bit more than the lastest butterfly rubber to get the real version, you just needed to have the man who knows how to get it.
By that, do you mean that this comparison of hurricane 3 national in their video is not valid? I also notice that my local seller sells the white case too
@@meemoozee It is of course valid. The power of hurricane is the full armswing stroke. Especially against backspin, the hurricane can use a full arm swing that generates a lot of power, speed, and spin. Most importantly its low arc, if you try to do a full arm swing loop against backspin with a butterfly rubber, the ball will just fly off the table. again the sport is really about equipment, there's no way the best team in the world uses the worst shitty rubber and beat all the other regions that don't use it. how come this is not obvious to people
@@lunachen6286Nah!! How can you be so wrong. Have you ever seen the technique and how they train? Chinese players truly value technique. European players, not so much. Americans don't even know what it is.
Thank you for doing this.... I played with the "I want it back" speed glue and was a 1900 to 2000 ish American player. I had to stop playing due to really bad arthritis and joint problems. Since coming back to play I have had a great problem finding a rubber blade combination that I liked, nothing feels like my old friend of 20 years. I do NOT like the really high throw angle of the Tenergy series. I prefer softer sponges...... How do you guys feel that the Hurrican series compares to the Tenergy/Dignics???
I appreciate the honesty in not trying to promote the most expensive product in the group
agree. I have never been tempted to buy provincial or national versions.

Without booster H3 is not worth playing. BTW, lots of rubber just pre boosted in the factory.
Boosting is a must.
I tried my new racket with non boosted hurricane 3 neo just yesterday and I agree, it is not very good, there is no feeling and not enough speed.
729 Battle 2 provincial blue,review, please .
Can you make a video for the DHS Skyline NEO versions? The TG2 and TG3?
How hard are the sponges compared to European sponges?
how about comparing with Nittaku hurricane with their blue and orange sponges
From where to buy national 39 and provincial 39 blue sponge
Curious on difference between hurricane 3 blue sponge provincial vs nittaku hurricane 3 pro turbo blue sponge
Turbo Blue is very very hard, and very heavy. More difficult to use than #22 H3
Do we have any more details regarding the booster used for this test? Not sure I’ve fully understand this part

think the dhs china rubber playing good but without a bit booster is better . i don't like the sounds of these chinese rubber .
National 41 blue sponge is the best
