By the way, how would you know which is national blue sponge or if its regional version? I also want to know whats the difference between this neo version and the white packed ones 🙏☺️
@ Fair enough, we table tennis player stick to what we like and what works for us. I’m tempted to use the yellow oil on my T05 hard as it’s good on higher impact shots but has no feeling on other shots. It’s the only non-tacky Butterfly rubber that I’ve used so far that can handle the full impact of my swing without bottoming out, so I’d like to boost it enough to make it bouncier and improve feeling on all of my shots but keep the benefits of the harder rubber by not overboosting and making it too soft where it bottoms out and hits the next on higher impact shots.
The effect last about 1-2 months. The sponge however is permanently softened and more springy. I usually boost, wait 2 months, take it off, reboost and play till it's dead.
if you're lucky, yes, hurricane 3 neo commercial just has less quality control so you might get one that's not the absolute best result the factory made, with provincial, it's more likely than you get a really good sheet, in essence, it's the same rubber.
If i can buy dhs hurricane 3 national ( not neo ) but its 2.2 thickness and also i can buy neo 3 national 2.1 which one is better to buy ( im planning to boost it ) Is it not recommendable to boost 2.2 thickness hurricane?
@@philipyyfr1977 i boosted hurricane 3 neo nations 39 degrees with 2 layers of booster . It is domed for like 100 hours already . Should i glue it now or wait until it is completely flat
Putting a layer of glue first will give some protection to the sponge so the booster doesn't damage it that much and the sponge can last a couple more cycles of boosting, but that also means the sponge is not absorbing all the booster, so your boost is less effective. So if you want to sacrifice a little bit of performance in exchange of a longer life of the sponge then put a layer of glue on it first, but if you can afford it and just want the absolute full potential of hurricane 3 you should put booster directly on it. But in the end, it all comes to personal choices, everyone do it differently and some people may not even like boosting it too much for many reasons. So experiment it yourself and apply the way that feels most comfortable for you
Depends on the H3. Neo has a pre applied layer so you can boost directly, non neo doesn't so you have to put a layer of glue first. I don't bother recommending non neo H3 unless you are using voc speed glue.

I am a professional player on my own. search mohit kumar table tennis on youtube you will find my tournament matchs. That why, i believe its too much glue
Did you ever try H3 boosted on backhand, can that be a thing ? Tried once non boosted and my backhand was like dead. Flip and block control was good but speed was painful.
@@irshaddanish6147 It means that in order to play this rubber on backhand you have to be technically really good if not great and to match that with good body, that means fast, explosive movement. Ofc everyone can play it but the question is are you playing just for fun or you want to learn and advance so you can play against good players, if yes just go other rubber that does a bit more job for you and is not that hard to learn like NIttaku Fastarc, Butterfly Rozena I feel are the good starting point. After that you can go for more with like MXP or Tenergy 05. Tacky rubbers on backhand is not for hobby players its just do demanding.
For that rubber you are using but the national one and what you would recommend the yellow one or the black one booster. Which is the difference?
@@andrewyrivera I recommend black because that's what WCQ (seen in a picture) uses. I tried it with great result so I never used anything else.
@philipyyfr1977 Thanks!
Why use neo if you Are boosting anyways
Bonjour
C'est une super méthode
Au bou de combien de temps il faut refaire le boost ?
La méthode est t'elle la même?
How long does the boost effect last for H3? Should I re-boost after that?
I won’t advice more than 2 times
With the glue layers between the booster - does that mean the effect lasts longer? How long would this last roughly? 2-3 months?
By the way, how would you know which is national blue sponge or if its regional version? I also want to know whats the difference between this neo version and the white packed ones 🙏☺️
national because the rubber is a square
2 corner is cut if it was a provincial and 4 for commercial
How come you prefer black to yellow oil, what’s the difference in the hand feeling?

Hi ! Thanks for the share. My Black Haifu oil is dark color, your oil is light blue. Can you tell me if it's different or the same thing ?
Mine is black, maybe due to the lighting and the sponge color it looks blue.
How many layers of booster would you apply on a new H3 national neo 39 degree?
personally 2-3 layers like in the video but it depends on your hand feel.
Hey, does boosting change the life span of the rubber?
Yes it slightly shortens it.
I have difficulty gluing domed rubbers like this. What am I doing wrong? Some parts of the edge of the rubber peels off.
wait till it domes less
Crap glue or not enough glue layers, if you like using thin layers or if your glue is thin then you need more layers than normal.
should i boost DHS NEO Hurricane 3 Provincial (Blue Sponge) if i have stiga cybershape carbonn and if yes would haifu black work with the rubber
Yes and yes.
