Seriously! My neighbour thought I was crazy or really depressed when he randomly popped in and saw me with a tear just roooooollin it's way down my cheek, lol.
@@Chris-P I loved it! And Ash is such a cool dude. The episode of WMMA where hhim and Enny get grilled by mommy jeans about their living situation was absolutely epic! I fucking hate that word, but it's merited, for once.
I have never heard ASH, of all people, burst out laughing that hard, THROUGH THE DAMN WALL, when Raelyn said her worst fear was Ryan's life, and they broke down laughing. Priceless.
On the come up, Raelyn Nelson podcasts are legit! Always great comedian guests & Of course, her writing / composing _Ari Shaffir Owns This Song_ (an ear worm of a hummable theme song, indeed!) for Skeptic Tank makes her an absolute legend. Great episode, as per usual.
Wow ..... And i thought i was the only person to experience this , my mother passed away on DECEMBER 21 and buried on her birthday the 24th of December ......this December will be 22 years since my mother being gone ..... And my feel goods not feeling good now
Maaan, Ryan. Half way through the episode, I appreciate you and your biggest fears! And how you laugh along with them. It makes me a bit less scared of my own, a million thanks bud. Preciate cha ✌🏻
lol she was an awesome guest. could you imagine opening up a set with "daddy's grave" lolol band starts crying then people in the crowd start crying and some dude sobbing in the back "I MISS MY DAD TOO!" then the song ends "PORTLAND YOU READY TO PARTY TONIGHT?!"
Im telling you, Ryan's the emotional support comedian we all need. How this man doesnt have more subscribers/fans, baffles the hell out of me. Ryan's a top 5 everything in life
Ryan, I doubt you'll see this comment. My father passed away 11/11/2017. I have been listening to your pod for many months now, religiously and trying to build up the courage to try and contact you, hearing you say that eleven eleven is your number finally brought me to say something. Thank you for everything you do, I love you man. Hope to talk to you in the future, you're a legend
Thank you for introducing me to her and her podcast. I had to go check out the Jason Ellis episode she did and it was great, much like this episode of your show. You the man Big Sick!
Hey Raelyn, you def have PTSD. And don't be ashamed to use that term. Anything effects everybody differently. And a fire that destroyed your house and could of killed you and your kids is VERY traumatic. And you talking about it could definitely help with your PTSD. Thanks for sharing your story
Yo I dont mean to point out the obvious but this girl has mad heart eyes for you and seems to adore your daughter. Single or not I'd be all over that my dude...just saying ;D
I would do the same thing she would do when I was younger. Think about life and God and the universe until I'd bug myself out lol even when I learned about infinity lol I had to stop thinking about it lol
Come on now, tell me I’m not the only one who sees it!! There’s a love connection there!!! They are totally into each other. I hope they’re both single!! Ryan and Raelyn!!!
I'm so sorry you lost you dad so young Raelyn! I'm having all sorts of feelings as I made the decision to tell my kids Santa was fake when they were 3 & 5. We aren't religious, just think always telling the truth is important. I really hope I haven't ruined the magic of their childhoods 😅😭 Great episode Y'all, thanks Ryan! 🙌
I’ve been doing a deep dive into the Crabfeast at work and it’s really inspired me in a bunch of different ways. Thanks Ryan and J. I love the Honeydew 🍈 as well. Looking forward to getting tickets for a little Night Pants Nation.
This was an excellent episode.. just two genuine artists, plowing through this shit we all navigate. Completely relatable…. but, more importantly … funny. Never stop… Sickler.
BROOOOO I almost peed myself today driving into SF... of course the gas station I stopped at once I got into the city had their bathroom closed... I just had to hold it until I got to the parking lot where I met my coworker who had our work van... I had to use a gallon jug in the back of the van... All told I think I held it for like an hour; I think I caused some damage holding it for that long. I can't tell you how horrible it felt having to pee so bad it hurt while driving through downtown SF traffic. I was so close to peeing my pants but I made it.
All I really wanna know, does Ari Shaffir really own that song?? I know you(Raelyn) sing over and over "Ari Shaffir owns this song" in the song, but does he REALLY own it??!!
I look forward to this more than Bad Friends. Ryan, you're the man, you deserve so much more hype than this circle has brought you. Here's hoping you blow the fuck up because this pod is transcendental and could very well be a worldwide sensation if it catches a trending I bet you'd be set forever. Good luck, bro.
What a delightful lady and kickass podcast yet again Ryan. fascinating episode, I went and looked up that performance of Raelyn's dad and papa Willie, her dad did sound a lot like Willie.
FYI..Someone murdered who's found stripped naked means they were informant (in some old-school Biker lifestyle). It means their wire can't be hidden anymore. Not saying it was her father's case, but it was common 1970s/80s
I don't have enough! Best guest ever! She's so adorable, loveable and really relatable, considering whom she is. I want more of her. I want to be her friend. Hell I'd marry her in a day!
Hope u see this Ryan..I love all these episodes and I know we periodically hear of your own honeydews but try a reverse episode where u have a guest going over your life? I think it's be dope to hear your lowlights!! Keep it up this is therapy

Y'all fuckin? Lol
Won't lie I enjoyed this far more than I anticipated I would. She made me laugh really hard when she said your life is her biggest fear 🤣
That quote should become a tshirt 😂
That was a great line, totally unexpected.
Same
Great pod.
Deadly!
Raelyn is so damn adorable. She was an amazing guest. She definitely needs a second episode.
What a great episode. She seems like the nicest person in the world.
“My biggest fear is actually your life” is easily the funniest thing uttered on this podcast
Facts. I'm trying not to scream laugh cuz I'm watchin this at 4am. Holy shit this is gold.
Hilarious!
Yeah I almost fell in a campfire laughing
Comment was so golden it got the crew to belly laugh for once. Shit had me in tears.
I don't get it ...
23:43 might be the best moment in this podcasts history 🖤😭
Excellent episode! The only podcast where you can laugh, cry, and immediately laugh again. 💚
Seriously! My neighbour thought I was crazy or really depressed when he randomly popped in and saw me with a tear just roooooollin it's way down my cheek, lol.

She is so sweet. So glad you had her on your show.
HELL OF AN EPISODE!!
wow, this was a amazing episode!
When she said she missed most is her jeans, I was out. Lol
Ah man I'm a bad mommy cause I didn't tie that in till I read your comment.
Thank you for introducing me to her and her podcast. I had to go check out the Jason Ellis episode she did and it was great, much like this episode of your show. You the man Big Sick!

"Our periods definitely would've synced by now" is the funniest thing I ever heard.
My biggest fear is actually your life. I've never laughed so hard. Quality!!
"If an afternoon nap had a face" is really holding true with Sickler lately lol. Think he smoked a little devils lettuce with Raelyn before the show.

I’m late to this party but damn Willie’s granddaughter is fantastic.
Yo I dont mean to point out the obvious but this girl has mad heart eyes for you and seems to adore your daughter. Single or not I'd be all over that my dude...just saying ;D
Never thought I’d hear about classical conversations on the honeydew!
Girl, you worked hard for that midriff. Shit ain't easy. Props for showing it off.

I heard it on audio. She was complimenting him alot.
NO SHE'S MINE! Lol.
I thought the same thing 👍 they would make the best couple for sure
She could easily be a stand up as well as a musician
I'm so sorry you lost you dad so young Raelyn! I'm having all sorts of feelings as I made the decision to tell my kids Santa was fake when they were 3 & 5. We aren't religious, just think always telling the truth is important. I really hope I haven't ruined the magic of their childhoods 😅😭

Sickler is so comfortable around the ladies. It makes me want to invest in nightpants!
I’m from Baltimore…the Candyman is real. So is the ice cream man…
When you called Josh Potter during his podcast, was it an emergency? Lol!!!
Finding humour in death gave me my first smile in two days. Thanks, HoneyDew.
The prayer is EVERYTHING! Sickler is the BEST!
I need that shirt 👕. I love it. ❤️
This was amazing! Raelyn is a great person. Lol, "we shouldn't have smoked weed."
Love this podcast
What a delightful lady and kickass podcast yet again Ryan. fascinating episode, I went and looked up that performance of Raelyn's dad and papa Willie, her dad did sound a lot like Willie.
I listened to this yesterday on Spotify, so good!! Man I can't wait till you come to Vancouver in 2022!! Looking forward to seeing you live!
FYI..Someone murdered who's found stripped naked means they were informant (in some old-school Biker lifestyle). It means their wire can't be hidden anymore. Not saying it was her father's case, but it was common 1970s/80s
Interesting with all due respect
Hope someone reaches out who were involved and she gets the closure
But all those guys are prolly dead now
That was what I was thinking. Maybe police had him hemmed up and forced him to roll, they found out and whacked him.
I don't have enough! Best guest ever! She's so adorable, loveable and really relatable, considering whom she is. I want more of her. I want to be her friend. Hell I'd marry her in a day!
