Richard James GM was heading in the right direction with the new model cars. I couldn’t stand the camaro’s when they first re-introduced them. But from about 14-18 they changed some of the body lines, and made the car look so much more aggressive. I’m s ford guy and can admit the Camaro’s we’re looking badass for those years. But then they showed the 2019 and man I just can’t see why they did what they did. I understand wanting to upgrade the body styling, but man they didn’t do a good job at it. Hopefully they can change it up in the coming years and make it look aggressive and badass again because even though I’m a ford guy, at the end of the day I’m just a car guy and no matter what the brand I love seeing badass cars.

I think the price is reasonable considering the power it has and how rare they are. I'm certain the GT500 will sell for well over $100k due to dealer markup and limited units.

Yes Sir. I just watched the the Sentra Nismo video. I bought my son a 05 Sentra SER for his first car. Back then it was a 2.5 with a 6 Speed Manual Non-Turbo with just about the same power. Funny how cars evolve. I am glad I found your channel. Interesting stuff! Keep up the great work.

Joe, I love your reviews, but this one was my favorite vehicle yet!!!! I'm a cobra kinda guy and know they usually don't touch up the interiors a whole lot, this car is truly special and they did a wonderful job inside and out!! I agree the only thing I would have liked to have seen was maybe a new steering wheel or dash emblem, but hey maybe the next models will come with them! I feel like the price is a little steep, but in Comparison to some of the exotic cars, this has better performance, better look and a hell of a lot better sound that's forsure, but it's definitely no gt or gr350 so price isn't all that bad when you think of all the step ups and special things you get. Others have said it, and I will too....You can get a 2018 Mustang 5.0, put the same Whipple Stage 2 Supercharger on it, and get the same 800+HP to the Crank, which is about 690HP to the Rear Wheels. And you save about $60K!!! SO, unless you want to pay extra for the Shelby body style, badges and extra Super Snake goodies(if you have the $$, go for it), you have an option if it's just HP you're looking for.

I agree with the steering wheel & pedals. When it comes to anything Shelby modified you want to separate your self from the masses that’s why you spend that extra dollar. But would’ve been amazing if they added more carbon fiber on to it. Me personally I just love the sleek look of carbon fiber vs plastic composite

This is one amazing Super Snake!
I like the styling of the latest Camaros and the Mustangs, even being raised with GM. The loaded blue Camaro ZL1 with all the options I want would be enough for me, but... If I had money to blow, I would buy that. I remember a few years back at the local new car show, a blue Corvette Z06 was going fir that price, and it didn't even have all the options. I knew about these specialty performance cars, and the Shelby ones, including thins one, but not all the details you featured. Almost everything about it I like. When you were commenting about the grille, fir some reason carbon fiber came to mind, and you mentioned it when you showed the mirrors. The wheels, brakes, exhaust tone, underhood treatments, and yes, a polished version of what I feel is the best superchargers, Whipple, and the sound of that intake when you gas the pedal. The seats, badges and Shelby plate and mats, the lower door stripes and everything. You just didn't mention. The sound system. It better have a big screen with Apple Car Play and Android Auto, and not the lame Amazon Alexa Toyota is putting in their new cars. I agree about the steering wheel, and pedals... I know there are other variants if out if the box tuner mustangs, but I think this is the best and nicest one, with the Shelby heritage...

My ‘89 GT was $12,000. My ‘96 Cobra was $26,000. My 2011 GT500 was $55,700 loaded. This car is double that. Yowza! My current vehicle is a Merc which is $75,000 to $100,000 depending on options. I give up.

Another good video, Joe. Love your enthusiasm and how informed you are. About the $117K MSRP, I assume they have a fairly hefty ADM (mark-up) on that car, my guess would be $25k+. All things considered, Ford's best offering is still the GT350. Snag one brand new now for $60K -- that is hard to beat for that sweet machine. And if you really want, throw on a blower :-) Hey keep up the good work brother!

The last vehicle that Carroll Shelby had a personal hand in developing, the 1000 was given a very literal name. The number 1000 represented the horsepower target, which was definitely met and then some.
The 1000 was a post-title package built off the 2011-2014 GT500 platform (later, a new 1000 model for the 2015-2018 Mustang GT 5.0 was introduced). Modern fuel injection and computerized engine management had allowed for streetable manners in cars with horsepower levels that had previously been the domain of NHRA dragsters.
So any thing after the last car he helped on won't exactly be a Carroll Shelby Cobra. Just somebody else's vision.

I wish you could had driven it. When we bought our 13 GT500 & 16 GT350. The dealer won't let you to take for a test drive. You gotta buy the car. Thanks for showing us this car 👍🏻👌🏻
